If you're into the old creature features, this BluRay is going to be right up your alley. The picture and sound were cleaned up nicely and it's a great way to see this one. This One's not quite the "red scare" film that some of the others around this time were, but it's definitely heavy on the dangers of genetically altering mutations. Creature from the Black Lagoon is the only creature feature I might say you should watch before this one if you're looking to delve into the genre's classics. Highly recommended.

This a very popular Sci-Fi movie that never disappoints. A young James Arness and Santa Claus from Miracle On 4th Street. The special effects of the large Ants is impressive. A very well received movie when it first came out and still popular today.

Them is an instant classic back from the '50s. I know many people nowadays don't like black and white movies but this is a cult classic from the '50s just like the movie The blob. And this movie Them happen to be giant ants. Creative from a nuclear blast in the Arizona desert from the 40s. Well this is a what if movie. If you honestly think about it what would happen to humanity if ants actually grew to a huge size. Well sit back watch it it's a classic like I said and it's well worth the time.

This movie is almost impossible to find and Best Buy had it and got it to me quickly and at a great price. Thank you.

THIS WAS THE BEGINNING AND PROBABLY THE BEST OF THE SCIENCE-FICTION PREMISE OF THE UNFORESEEN CONSEQUENCES OF ATOMIC WEAPONS TESTING IN THE DESERTS OF THE SOUTHWESTERN UNITED STATES. NO ONE KNEW OF THE NUCLEAR CAUSED MUTATIONS AND ITS AFFECTS ON THE CREATURES NATIVE TO THE AREA. WHEN THEY BECOME ACTIVE AND BEFORE THE AUTHORITIES CAN IDENTIFY WHAT CAN CAUSE THIS HAVOC IN THE DESERT, THEY HAVE MIGRATED TO THE FAMOUS STORM WATER SEWERS OF LOS ANGELES AND, STILL NOT HAVING BEEN SEEN, THEY ARE REFERRED TO AS "THEM"! MORE OF THIS TYPE FILM WOULD BE PRODUCED BUT, AS USUAL, THIS FIRST AND THEREFOR MOST MYSTERIOUS FILM, TURNS OUT TO BE THE BEST OF THEM ALL. THIS REPUTATION IS WELL EARNED AND STILL VALID TODAY.

I can not believe after 50 years of seeing this movie that it was actually released in wide screen back in 1954 , I thought it was one of those remastered version that chopped of the top and bottom of the screen now I can see it as it was intended.

So great to have classic movies like this to watch over and over again.

Watch as often as possible Love the old movies don't have the violence of today's movie's.

"THEM" features scientists , one of which is a romantic interest for the hero, Korean war era weapons firing away, and giant radioactive ants! What's not to like?

So I haven't watched this, I gave it as a gift. The person I gave it to absolutely loves it.
