Customers are enthusiastic about the Theragun Duo Adapter's increased reach and ability to treat larger muscle groups, allowing for more efficient therapy sessions. However, some users have expressed concerns regarding the adapter's fragility and susceptibility to damage. Several reports indicate the product is prone to breakage, even with relatively light use. This raises questions about the long-term durability of the adapter.

Snapped in half from just removing a foam head

Broke from almost nothing, was pulling a head off and it took the prong from the adapter with it. Not only is the adapter broken but the head has the plastic snapped off flush inside and I can't remove it with pliers so now the head is useless too. Really shocked by the quality of this as it's such an expensive device and expensive attachments. Really feel like the heads and the adapters are ridiculously priced akin to say Apple products.

One arm snapped off with my attatchment stuck on the connector to the arm. So basically I lost an attatchment and this device. Terrible quality for a high priced brand.

I was Very excited when I bought this item. I used it daily very happy about the purchase. That was until it broke on me. You would think that an adapter like that would last for a long time but for what ever reason this one didn’t hold up. For the price of the item you would expect longer life. It hasn’t even been a whole year yet! I love the attachment I just wish it was made of stronger material!

This is a great addition to my Theragun. I like to use two with two standard ball attachments.
Downside is that it feels a little cheap and according to other reviews, it is prone to breaking so I shall be gentle with it.

Great Reviews but i've received two bad ones

I love the idea of this and want to like it but it broke after the first use; not only my adapter and the theragun. It took a few weeks to get the RMA and product provided back to me. Got the duo replaced and it didn't break but i can't get one adapter off now. If you notice the silver ball is facing you on the right, but on the left it faces east/west and that is the one where the adapter is almost impossible or not able to be removed. I have a new one with a thumb adapter stuck and if i try to remove it i'm sure it will break again. The concept is great, but i believe they are designed to keep the adapters on without removing them. That's fine but Therbody needs to let us know versus telling us you can use any combo of adapters. That isn't my experience.

Before I bought the Theragun I tried out the Hypervolt. I wasn't a fan of that massager but loved the dual nub head that came with it. It felt so great on my calves and Achilles heel. So I jumped when I saw Theragun came out with a similar adapter that worked with any of its heads.
As excited as I was to get it I don't like it as much as the Hypervolt head. For one, you have to buy a whole new set of heads, you can't just buy a second one to match the one that was packed with your Theragun. More money! The width between the heads is also wider than the Hypervolt so it doesn't hug my Achilles like the Hypervolt does.
But on whole I'd rather have it than not. After spending $$$ on the Theragun and then another $ on the Duo Adapter I was a little spend exhausted. I have the money, just didn't want to spend it. So I just use two different heads. It's a little awkward but works.

This duo head is a game changer! I is the second one I have. I have a theragun pro and now a mini and I use both and I am very satisfied with the quality and fit of this product. Thank you therabody for making this product and Best Buy for carrying therabody in stores and online. There is slight caveat , you still have to buy extra cushion heads , but still it’s a game changer . You massage a greater surface area with this duo head .

Great accessory for the Theragun which allow more coverage. It's a shame it's not already included. Also you have to buy the matching head if you want the same balance massage on both ends. Overall great but going to cost you 1/4 the price of a new massage gun just to use it properly.

I hate that I had to pay for this attachment, but why wouldn't you want to double the coverage? Glad I bought it. Don't forget to get the extra head for it too so you're not using 2 different attachments.

I use the duo adapter with two “thumb” points. I am 5’11”/245lbs (toned). I found this adapter works best for my gluts, quads and arms. I would not recommend this adapter for anyone who has a small body/frame, specifically small/short limbs. The duo adapter just makes it easier to cover more muscle but I wouldn’t say it turns the theragun into a “better “ massager. I have the latest “Pro “ edition of the massagers and I find myself only using this more for my quads and glutes. I wouldn’t go as far as saying this is a must have for everyone, it will definitely help cover more muscle/tissue but the “quality “ of the massage still depends on the user.

Not worth it

The attachments would not release from the duo adapter. When I tried to remove the attachments, the first one ripped in half but was still connected to the duo adapter. I tried to remove the other attachment and it broke off of the adapter with the connector still inside and the adapter itself split in half. Now, I’m out for the cost of the duo adapter AND two attachments. I’m giving up in the theragun all together but that’s another review.

I heard about this Adapter from my friend and Actually saw it on Instagram, and it really looks nice and the price is not a problem so I thought why not?. so I purchased this from best buy and it only takes 2days to receive it. Very fast shipping! and I really enjoy moment when I need separate the power to make it balanced on specific part of muscle. Thanks for smart idea product.
