I’ve been using the Theragun Mini Plus after workouts and runs and it’s been great for quick recovery. It’s compact but still powerful, and the heated attachment really helps loosen tight muscles. It’s definitely pricey, but the quality and portability make it worth considering if you train consistently.

I’ve been using the Theragun Plus for a bit now and honestly, it’s a great device. The percussion massage itself is super solid – it really gets into tight muscles after long days or workouts – but the real star for me is the heat. The built-in heat just takes everything to another level. Instead of just pounding away on sore spots, the warmth helps the muscles relax faster, so it feels more like a deep, soothing treatment than just a massage gun. It’s especially clutch for stiff neck/shoulder days or lower back tightness.

This small version of Therabody is a great travel item with small size to take with you.

So far I love having this device. It’s portable and easy to use and the heating feature is really nice. The only downside is holding it for long periods of time starts to wear on your hands but otherwise has been super useful for what it does.

I have some experience with massage guns, both off-brand models as well as another model in the Therabody line, and to very briefly sum up my thoughts on this one, I really like it and I think it really would work for most people. The build is solid, yet compact and travel friendly, it looks “good,” the design was well thought out, the app is useful and easy to use, and, most importantly, the device is effective and delivers on what it promises to do. Very well. For those used to a “handle” like many percussion massagers have, this may take a small amount of time to get used to, but as a first timer, I really found it to be no issue. Additionally, the somewhat smaller size makes it easier to maneuver. As for what it does, and how it does it, I think these devices, in general, are a worthy investment not only for those into fitness, but also for those who spend a lot of time on their feet or are just generally active. This is deceptively powerful, and it gets deep into your muscles. The feeling and result are really hard to put into words, but it simply just makes you feel good. Calm. Relaxed. Loose. I suppose recovered works as well. New to me is the heat feature, which, to be honest, I was not really sure what to think about going in. I can’t really speak to the science here, but It gets warmer than I thought it would, feels quite good, and I think is a great add. Briefly, battery life has been great so far, and charging is quick as well as easy. They provide a cable, but no brick. The included case is quite basic, and if I had to nitpick, for a somewhat premium device, maybe I would like something a little better. Along those same lines, while I appreciate that you can use other attachments that Therabody offers, “maybe” give another with purchase? I understand the line, and they have other options, but I don’t think it would be out of line. Ultimately, despite those few minor quibbles I have, I really like this for what it is. It works, well. Full stop. Yes, it is a premium device, but for the quality of life improvements it gives me, I think it is worth it and the value is there.

The Theragun Mini Plus - Portable Massage Gun with Heat from Therabody, is a fairly compact personal massager with various optional attachments. This model came with the Heat attachment, there are also other attachments available including, Vibration Plus and Cold Plus, the latter being appealing to me especially to fight inflammation due to injury or wear. This is an upgraded model from the previous version (Theragun Mini) and it weighs in at 1.38 pounds. It is relatively easy to control and use, however people with smaller hands might disagree. Speaking of travel, in addition to being compact and with the included travel pouch, this model is TSA compliant and can be locked in the off mode for travel to prevent accidental operation. In addition to having three concussive speeds, the included heat attachment, has three temperatures 113, 122, and 131 degrees. It is a powerful massager with a 25lb stall force (how much pressure you put on yourself with the device), Even though I thought the massage capabilities are perfect, my wife actually thought massage was a bit severe. The massager also connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the Therabody app sends metrics to the Apple Health app or other similar apps. The Therabody app has several massage regiments for different use cases and will adjust heat, percussive force and duration accordingly. The app also can measure the amount of pressure you are using. Overall, this is a much-improved massager especially with the availability of other Plus attachments when compared to the Theragun Mini (previous generation which is still available). It is USB-C chargeable, which makes it convenient. I've been impressed with this thing, despite it's compact size it's powerful and packs a bunch in a small form. If you're new to one of these you'll unlock a world of massage therapy that you can control in a guided way with the included Therabody app. It has a built-in coach option in the app that can help personalize recovery plans based on your goals and needs. In terms of function, it's really simple to use and the recommendations that the app makes helps educate you on what and where you can target sessions to achieve a desired result. If you're on the fence, I'd say do it simply because now having tried it for several weeks I can honestly say it helps in ways I didn't really think it would to help with pain and improve circulation for a faster recovery from workouts or just a strenuous active day. The other thing that's cool is this thing is heated and really can deliver targeted therapy where you need it. There is an add on cold attachment you can get if your needs are cold therapy as well. Charging is simple, and you can do it with a USB-C charger that you're already using to charge your phone, so no extra charge bricks! Each charge can go for multiple sessions before requiring a charge but of course varies on how you use it (like if you turn on heating). It's sleek, travel friendly and built solid. It's comfortable to hold and use and I'm impressed overall. This would be the perfect splurge or gift to give that someone who may not even know they want one might actually like one after trying a few sessions.

Purchased for my husband as a gift. He owns two other products, but thought he'd appreciate this one to travel with.
