I recently purchased the Therabody Theragun Prime Bluetooth + App Enabled Massage Gun, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my post-workout recovery! This sleek black massage gun is not only powerful but incredibly user-friendly too. First off, the ease of use is fantastic. With just a few taps on the app, I can customize my massage experience to target specific muscle groups. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, allowing me to control the intensity and speed effortlessly from my phone. Plus, the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold, even during longer sessions. One standout feature is the impressive battery life. I can go multiple sessions without worrying about charging it, which is a huge plus for those of us who are always on the go. It's reliable, and I appreciate not having to worry about it dying on me midway through a massage. The variety of attachable accessories is where this massage gun truly shines. With four different attachments included, I can target various muscle groups with precision. Whether it's the larger muscle groups like the back and thighs or the more delicate areas like the neck and calves, this Theragun has got it covered. After incorporating the Theragun into my recovery routine, I've noticed reduced muscle soreness and increased flexibility. It has definitely helped me recover faster and perform better in my workouts. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of a reliable and effective massage gun. Its ease of use, ergonomic design, long-lasting battery, and variety of attachments make it a top-notch choice for those serious about their recovery.

The Theragun Prime is a great mid-range massage gun that offers a good balance of power, portability, and features. It's not the quietest or most powerful massage gun on the market, but it's still a great option for most people. Pros: Powerful enough for most people: The Theragun Prime has a powerful motor that delivers up to 30 lbs of force. This is enough to reach deep into your muscles and provide relief from pain and tension. Quiet: The Theragun Prime is one of the quietest massage guns on the market. This is thanks to its QX65 motor with QuietForce Technology. Portable: The Theragun Prime is relatively lightweight and compact, making it easy to take with you on the go. Easy to use: The Theragun Prime is easy to use, even for first-time users. The ergonomic handle makes it comfortable to hold, and the controls are simple to understand. Bluetooth connectivity: The Theragun Prime connects to the Therabody app via Bluetooth. The app provides guided routines and custom settings. Cons: Not the most powerful: The Theragun Prime is not as powerful as some of the higher-end massage guns on the market. If you need a very deep tissue massage, you may want to consider a different model. Battery life could be better: The Theragun Prime's battery life is not great. You can expect to get about 120 minutes of use per charge. Price: The Theragun Prime is not the cheapest massage gun on the market. However, I think the price is justified given the quality and features of the device. Overall, I would recommend the Theragun Prime to anyone looking for a powerful, portable, and easy-to-use massage gun. It's a great option for athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone who just wants to relieve muscle pain and tension.

Love using this device. I had a Lyric messager before purchasing this Theragun. I prefer this much more, it has more of a punch then what I previously used. Wish it charged using USB-C rather then the barrel charger it uses. But the cinch bag it comes with makes it convenient enough to throw the charger in. If You think you will be using this a lot you may want to invest in one of the models that have a swappable battery.

I know this thing might be a little pricey, but just get it. It is awesome. It really loosens up stiff muscles. I've never had anything like this, so I can't compare it to other brands that might cost less. I can't say whether you might be able to get something just as good at half the price. I can say this particular one is awesome!

I truly loved this massage, it could be a bit rough on the skin, which was kind of a problem for me whenever I tried to use it because I have really sensitive skin. However, I managed to just lightly press it, and this helps so much! It makes my neck not hurt at all. One tip I read when reading other reviews for this, was to but a bit of oil or cream and the massage device will run easier! Tried that and loved it :) Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. First off, I've never used one of these before and am pretty impressed with what it can do. It has a strong percussive movement and there are 5 speed settings. One of the problems I have with this unit is the slow speed isn't slow enough. It really needs a slow and more relaxed movement. Not every part of my body needs to be jack-hammered. The two fastest speeds I felt to be less enjoyable. The app I can't comment on due to it being buggy and not working properly. Hopefully, they get the bugs worked out soon. The unit itself weighs approx 2 lb. 4 oz., so it has some weight to it, but not overly heavy. If you hold it up long enough your arm my get fatigued, however. It is pretty easy to hold, but it would have been better if it had some textured grips instead of just smooth plastic. The unit itself isn't too loud, but it is louder than I expected. It is about as loud as my waterpik cordless water-flosser. I posted pics to show how loud this is on lowest and highest settings. Battery life seems good so far. I have yet to have to charge it after multiple uses. Overall, this product does a good job for what it was intended to do. The four interchangeable attachment heads give flexibility on how you use it on what body parts. The MSRP is pretty steep, IMO, but if you need a percussive wireless massager, this one is worth a look. Pics show dB level at lowest setting and highest setting. This is with the decibel meter right next to the head of the unit, so this would be considered the loudest you would get. Obviously, the further away from the unit you are, the less loud it becomes.

Let me start by saying that this is the first home therapy device I've ever owned and it could not have come at a better time. I used to treat myself to a massage now and then, but since everything is closed currently because of Covid, having one of these in my home right now is essential. I have a physically demanding job and I try to exercise often. The Theragun Prime is very easy to use and the free downloadable app guides you every step of the way. The app has a plethora of activities and guided therapy tutorials and presets for you to choose from and explore.. Got lower back pain? or want to wind down and release some tension before sleep? The app has you covered. The app will set a timer and you can quickly adjust the speed within the app. It provides helpful directions with photos of where to pass the machine along your body. You can even save a daily routine from the start of your day til you're ready for bed. I downloaded the app on my iPhone and connecting the device via bluetooth is simple and quick. The app will find and pair the device for you automatically. The design of the theragun is genius and handles well whether you're a lefty or right handed. I do find that I have to juggle it a little still for working on my back and lower back but the rest of my body is easy to reach with this. I just get someone to help me with the harder to reach areas. I'm 6 foot tall and not the most flexible person lol. Your mileage may vary. This particular model comes with 4 attachments. A dampener, a "thumb" , a ball, and a cone. It also comes with a charging cord. Battery life is excellent. This is the very first theragun I've ever owned so I can't comment on whether it is quieter than previous models. I don't find the machine to be too loud, the hum is somewhat relaxing for me but it is quite strong and makes me feel like the whole room is vibrating lol. Personally I find the full speed setting to be a bit much, I have to turn down the speed a little when doing my upper back or neck and shoulders. It made my teeth rattle when i pressed it on the side and back of my neck while standing up. I personally decided to shove a rag between my teeth to bite on while massaging my neck and shoulders so I don't clank my teeth together too much. Laying in a prone position on the bed helps damper the vibrations also. Would I recommend this to a friend? YES. Now more than ever. Will it replace a professional masseuse ? Probably not.But being able to massage and soothe myself at home or on the go whenever I am achy or sore has been awesome. Whether you work in an office, are an athlete or just want to live a healthy lifestyle and maintain your muscles, bones and ligaments. I think you will find this therapy gun to be a great investment.

I will start off by saying yes this is not inexpensive massager but is well worth it. The power the intensity and the battery life are amazing. This does not have heat but it has four different tips to broaden or pinpoint the pressure needed. I didn't even charge it up fully the first day and used it for about 20 minutes and I can definitely tell a difference so I charge it overnight and use it a few times on different spots of my body that had been aching. Aside from a little bit of noise it is very easy to hold of one hand and to get two spots on your back with most tips and without needing a lot of dexterity. In my line of work I've needed Chiropractic Care and heating pads and massagers. THIS TAKES over the heating pad and massages because it gets so deep that it allows the blood flow to reduce pain and discomfort. If you are serious about getting discomfort and relief through muscle pains that can be massaged i woukd definitely give this a try. This si very powerful just becareful.

Up until quarantine my husband and I both got regular massages in order to help us deal with muscle knots and migraines caused by knots and muscle tension. This massager came at the perfect time! Until now I have never found a handheld massager that resolved our ailments! There is an app that comes along with this unit. It connects to the massager via bluetooth seamlessly. The app has variety of needs and ailments that users can choose and treat. The app not only suggests what attachments, grip, motion, but also monitors the pressure you are using in real time and suggest whether it is the proper pressure or not. This is very useful as well as user friendly. It also allows you to change the speed on the fly from your phone. This massager comes with 4 attachments to assist with an array of ailments and treatments. It also comes with a nice bag to carry the massager and attachments in; however I do prefer the box it came in as it holds the attachments in place - that way they are not lost. It has bright LEDs to show battery life as well as the 5 speed "intensity" levels. The battery on this unit is fantastic. We have been using this for several days now and it still shows to be full battery, on the first charge even. One of my small complaints is that these intensity levels do not go any lower. This is quite an intense machine, there are many more sensitive areas that even the lowest setting is too rough for. My primary ailment is knots in my upper back/shoulders that cause tension on my neck, resulting in migraine. Often even a one hour deep tissue massage could not work out these knots. This machine worked out these knots in a matter of minutes! Another complaint I have is the noise. I have not had the opportunity to hear the previous model in order to compare noise levels but this thing sounds like a jackhammer. It can be heard from across the house with doors closed!! If you do not mind the sound, this massager is absolutely fantastic and I would reccomend it to anyone.

I have been using the Theragun Prime every day/night for the last week. It came in at just the right time for me, so I was quite happy to use it often for before reviewing it. The Theragun Prime is a percussive massage gun, which just means it hits you at varying frequencies to provide a deep massage. The specs for the Theragun are pretty straightforward. 2 hour battery life, 4 different massage tips, a nice travel/storage pouch, and the charger. The gun provides 30 pounds of force without stalling, and 16mm of piston travel. It has an LED indicator panel to communicate battery life, and intensity setting. There are only 3 buttons to interact with – power, intensity up, and intensity down. The percussive range goes from 1750-2400 percussions per minute (PPM). There are 5 preset intensities in that range – 1750, 1900, 2100, 2200, and 2400. There is also a buddy app for IOS/Android (I tested with Android) that gives you the ability to dial in the intensity of the gun to a specific number, and to follow along some preset routines. Using the massager for the first time was self-explanatory. I knew where I was sore, so I turned on the massager with the larger dampener attachment and set to work. Holding onto the massager was easy to do with the design of the grip. Even getting to my lower back was possible with the grip design, which was great because that’s where I was sore. I set it to the lowest setting, and at first pass it was intense and almost too much. After a few seconds I got used to the pressure and rhythm, which allowed me to target the sore spots. The feeling of using the Theragun is hard to describe. I used it on myself, my SO used it on herself, and then we each took turns massaging the other. At lower intensity levels you feel more punches from the device, but they are felt across a smaller area. At the highest levels you don’t feel the hits so much as you feel a lot of pressure that extends over a larger area. I actually preferred the lower settings for this reason. My SO preferred the medium to higher settings. We spent time swapping through the attachments, and found which ones we liked for certain areas. The dampener felt the best on legs and chest. The thumb felt the best on backs, shoulder blades, glutes, and arms. The cone felt the best on our necks and the shoulder blade area again. We felt the standard ball could be swapped in for either the dampener or the thumb and used in their preferred areas to either raise the intensity/depth of the massage (i.e. swapping it in for the dampener) or lower it (i.e. swapping in for the thumb). I found it easy to hold onto the massager and apply the needed pressure. My SO on the other hand had a little difficulty holding while reaching over her shoulder to get her back. The normal way to hold it would be in your right hand to get your left shoulder blade/upper back area, and vice versa. She had issues holding it like that after about 25-30 seconds, and would have to hold it with her right hand to hit her right side. Not as ideal of a position since you can’t really reach everywhere holding it like that. Her solution was to just alternate sides as she got tired, and to hit other areas before addressing her shoulders again. With this generation Theragun is touting its improvements in noise production. I will say that I have no prior experience with deep tissue massagers, so I really don’t have anything to compare it to. I can say that my SO and I were able to hold a conversation while using it, and the sound never seemed excessive. Honestly the sound of yourself getting drummed on drowns out the sound the machine is making. They also improved the battery life with this generation. I charged the device the first night to full, and have used it all week on myself and my SO. I think we are just now down to 2 dots on the LED indicator (3 is full). So far using the Theragun Prime has been terrific. I’ve used it to address the tendonitis in my forearms from lifting, and the tightness in my back and shoulders from yard work. My SO used it to work out some sore spots gained while working in the ER as a trauma nurse. We each had separate pain points and needs, and the Theragun addressed them both. I really have nothing but good things to say about it. The variety of tips provided, the pouch to keep them all together, and the performance are all excellent. The only negative I have is the buddy app. I only used it with Android devices, so I can’t speak to the IOS version. It just did not work correctly at all. I was using my LG V20 and my SO tried it with her Galaxy S10+. We had no problem pairing the gun with the app. That’s the end of the list for things that worked. The other features like controlling the intensity with the app – we couldn’t get it to work. The routines were nice, but they didn’t work right. On my phone the timer would count down for the steps but on SO’s phone, the timer never budged but the steps would still change. We also had issues with the app saying we turned the device off when it was still on. If you press the power button once, it wakes the gun up. Press and hold the power button turns the piston on. It was during the “wake-up state” that the app would say the gun was turned off even though the LED’s were still lit up. This would happen after 30 seconds, so it wasn’t immediate, but you still needed to have time to go through the routines and select which ones you wanted and do whatever. You wouldn’t want to have the device actively going while trying to set things up. So after all of this, for me, the app was unusable. I’m not sure how much I would have used it anyways. Controlling the intensity seems useful if you have someone else using the massager on you, but if you are using it solo then it would be way easier to simply use the buttons on the device. Overall, the Theragun Prime is awesome. Aside from the dodgy app (which I don’t really think is a great loss), it works exactly as expected. I wish I had known about this massager years ago when I started hitting the gym again – so much soreness could have been avoided.
