The Theragun pro plus is a great option for athletes, highly active people in almost any sport and older active people as well. The many attachment that vary in purpose from heat therapy, vibrating joint therapy attachment, the thumb, the micro pint, the wedge and dampers are great for full body treatment of muscles and joints alike. I do regular hard hikes weekly or semi weekly and found the pro plus a huge help in cutting recovery time. When hiking hard, with elevation the pressure going up is on your knees mostly, while on the way back it becomes harder and harder and calfs and anckles. Theragun pro plus helped recover anckles and knees by using the vibration attachment that makes recovery much faster and eased the pain. The heat attachment is great for pre workout to loosen stiff muscles to avoid injury. I also use the thumb for the area between my shoulder blades. Another really high point of the pro plus is the app. It's really useful especially with the breathing exercises that it provides. I was able to slow down my heart rate and relax for real after less than 5 minutes of exercise. I plan on doing this every day. Another success point of the pro plus you ask? It has a USB C charging port. This way I get to carry one charger and one cable for my phone, my laptop and my Theragun. This is really huge and great and makes life easier! The small things. The pro plus has a cold attachment that is not included in the package which is the cold therapy one. I do plan on getting it as it should be the best one for recovery. I wish it was included in the price and package but it is what it is. Finally, the pouch that the gun and attachments come in is really durable and protective, yet looks nice and simple. I really think Theragun knocked it out the park with this one.

I have owned in percussion guns and this Theragun pro plus blows all of them out of the water.... So a little bit of background of my athletic endeavors. I have been active with various sports over the years and it wasn't until I got injured in a contact sport that I appreciate various tools to help alleviate and control pain. I suffer from herniated cervical and lumbar vertebrae discs and often get muscles that tense up and cause for pain in my extremities. I have used percussion guns in conjunction with tennis ball and foam rollers to help release lactic acid that impinges my nerves. So after I do my weekend road bike I need percussion my back and calves due to lactic acid build up and to reduce inflammation. Theragun takes it to the next level. The automatic function along with specific heads creat a specific target zone for these areas. The Handle on the gun is ingenious..... it allows for easier gripping and ability to apply pressure to different parts of the body that are hard to reach and sustain and longer hold. There is also the option to buy a head that you can ICE to create a cold pack and combine with the percussion. Also the heated head along with LED heat helps with muscle recovery as well. Wow. What a difference between knock off percussion guns vs Theragun... The app is also pretty cool. Different options for different pre or post exercises. App is easy to use and toggle. Battery life is decent as well. I can't speak enough the build and quality.

I am a long-distance runner and after a long run, my lower back feels tight and sore. I have been looking for a good percussion massager, but I have had issues in the past using too much pressure and poor technique. Theragun has helped me with these issues with the latest app update for the Theragun PRO Plus. There isn’t too much to say about the setup and use without the app, other than this percussion massager is pretty good with quite a few different heads to try out. What made me most impressed is the app. The added walk-through with videos, instructions to change to certain heads, and the optimal pressure indicator, makes this percussion massager better than the rest. The videos helped ensure I was using proper technique while the pressure indicator made sure I did not apply too much pressure. Honestly, the app makes me feel like I had a personal assistant helping me out. There are 13 programs in the app, but you can only load 5 at a time to the device (see photo). The Theragun PRO Plus was pretty quiet at 68 decibels from 4 inches away. I could easily carry on a conversation without this massager making it difficult to hear. The heated head worked pretty well on direct skin contact, but I could not really feel it through clothes. My favorite head to use was the dampener on my lower back. There is an additional head with 3 cold settings, which I have plans to purchase this once it becomes available. The battery life was pretty good as I have had to charge it only once within 5 days. It also seemed to charge quickly, so the battery life should not be a concern. As I get a little older I need some extra recovery from the gym. I really like the Theragun. It is the 1st deep massager I've had but it's great. I really do like the app intergration. Before I hit the gym I do a war up routine and when I get back I do a recovery. Having the app work with the gun is great. It tells you what muscle group to target and for how long. It will also tell you what head to use. The gun comes with a bunch of heads but I stick to about 3. The ball, dampner, and heat. It has worked great so far. I did have one issue. When recharging with just a straight usbc connection the gun would not hold a charge. I solved the problem by pugging it into an outlet and all is good.

I love it. Lots of great improvements over the older models, better designed heads and connectors. Added function of red light therapy. Down side is the battery isn't interchangeable as it is with the older models, making a possible need for more than 1 in a practice setting. Though the battery life seems shorter, it's charge time is pretty quick. All in all, it's worth the pricepoint especially is you have chronic pain, issues with neuropathy, etc.

Well built, game changer for recovery for long runs and workouts. Only complaint is that for 600 it should come with the cold attachment.

The quick programs on the device is an awesome feature, but you got to use the app with this product. The app has more indepth programs for warm-ups, sleep, low back pain, etc. We've used it daily since purchase and are amazed at the quality of the product.

The lower back recovery routine helps provide some relief to my quads and glutes which are tight and painful due to a herniated disc and accompanied sciatica. I wish it included the cold accesory as it required for this routine and was an additional $99 purchase.

I used to powerlift when I was in the Army and 20 years younger. With time, however, warm up and recovery take much much longer than they did. So back then, I would have never considered getting a recovery device, but recently I started looking for one. A few companies jumped out when I began researching. The Theragun Pro Plus stands for a few reasons. The Therabody app connected to the Theragun Pro Plus as simply as picking out the very clearly labeled icon with a picture of the device, then tapping the button. There are quite a few Therabody devices, but using pictures of each device as thumbnails was so intuitive. Then, the Pro Plus’s main differentiation is the new infrared heated massage head. The head has a gentle shape that works together with the heated element to promote blood flow and healing, according to the instructions. Personally, what I can say is that I do CrossFit 4 times a week and run on my off days. Combining the “lower body recovery” routine on the app and then targeted massages with the Pro Plus to lats and other upper body groups after workouts, I have noticed significantly less and shorter soreness on a routine basis.

One of the best tools for anybody who is looking for recovery and maintenance of their bodies. A must for any athletes who train daily.

I love my Theragun Pro Plus!! Somebody wanted to buy mine. I said ohh no I wouldn't trade it for anything! Have bad sinus and allergies... When my head and body is throbbing, I use it on my temple, shoulders, and thighs and it soothes vibrates my sinus pressure and pain loose!

With the exception of battery life, the Theragun Pro Plus has been a superior massage gun thus far. The heat, cold and vibration attachments are fantastic. The inclusion of a USB-C charging port is nice. The price is steep, but if you wait for a sale and use your HSA, it's money well spent. The Theragun brand is the best on the market.

By far the best gun of the models. The warming attachment is the game changer on this model and it comes with all the pieces. However, that would be cool if they sold the double head like the older model, but it is softer on the joints and quieter. Definitely recommend for after workouts and for arthritic flareups with the vibration attachment.

A really solid product for muscle recovery. I use this at my physio clinic and every client loves it. Red light adds a nice addition to decrease inflammation.

Absolutely love this. I have a demanding job that requires me to move all night throughout my shift, and this product has helped me with my joints and muscle aches. I also like how their app helps you understand how to use this and all the other options it has.

The Theragun pro plus is easy to handle, not noisy, wide variety of options using the internet, solid construction and the heat and cold attachments are very beneficial for therapies.

Absolute must have massage gun!! Heat attachment is much needed, infared is a bonus only issue is i wish the package included the ice head!? Other then that the battery lasts as long as you need it too really no downfall to this therapy equipment. Everyone who gets sore or is aging must have this theragun

This thing is in creditable and I can see why proffesional use this. The flexability withe attachments fits every need. Battery life seems to be good as well. Only negative is the price, but then again the product seems to be worth it.

This is, by far, the smartest Theragun yet! Using infrared heating in the handle as well as from the “hot head” allows for the release of muscles along with better blood flow. The vibration head is perfect for healing scar tissue. The cold head gives this device more than percussive therapy, it allows you to ice body parts that need attention. This version is comparatively compact with less moving parts. Carrying the theragun and all heads in the carry bag makes it convenient for travel.
