We have had this oven for about a week now and it is truly impressive. It is both beautiful and a technological wonder. It is amazing how far things have progressed in just the last 5 years since we last bought an oven. The new technologies do take some getting used to - this is not plug and play, it is taking experimentation as we progress through all the steam functions, advanced convection, rotisserie, and more. For example, we did whole chickens two ways first - steam convection by program and on the rotisserie. Halfway through I was convinced the steam was going to win handily as it was developing a beautiful brown while the rotisserie looked raw, but it ended up charring the skin of the bird before the inside was cooked to temp (I think we told it slightly higher weight for the bird than was true), while the rotisserie ended up amazing! We will figure it all out, maybe try the temp probe with steam convection, but it will definitely take some practice. Also, the recipes on the app are not customized to the oven, so trying to learn how to cook with this particular oven is proving to have a learning curve. No doubt we will end up in a great place, but it is like learning a new language for each dish.

It was a lot of money but I still think it was worth it now three plus months after getting this double oven installed. The steam oven is the largest available on the market. Simple and fun to use. I am looking forward using this for Thanksgiving dinner. Lot of YouTube videos to see.
