The appliance is excellent! The store personnel were excellent. It was a wonderful decision to purchase another Thermador double oven, as it replaced an older Thermador model I had for over 15 years. I love to cook and bake- this oven will serve me well as it is exactly what I needed!

Beautiful ovens.. they are very heavy if youre installing yourself.

Works well. But some details are puzzling, like using the temperature probe. Only on top oven not bottom! And can’t figure out how to turn oven on with WiFi. Instructions not clear.

I love the double oven! I baked blueberry muffins and cakes to perfection! I roasted vegetables and baked chicken that came out so delicious! Very quiet oven. The Use and Care Guide displays cooking charts on a variety of food. It shows what heating mode to use, bakeware, rack position, heating mode symbol, temperature, and cooking times. The racks in the oven are numbered.

This is the most incredible appliance. Very easy to use and cooks amazing!

If you are still searching....STOP! Look no further. Just perfect for our new home

First, know that we have used Thermador double ovens for 30 years. We just purchased our third as part of a kitchen renovation. Since we had owned Thermador ovens for so long, we did not think there would be significant differences with the new unit. We were wrong. The current design features alarming poor. Before you buy this unit, do what we did not do…..go see it and listen to it in a working kitchen, and test the items which I am listing below. If you are happy, by all means, buy the unit. It does a great job in the “cooking’ department. However, you may find some of the shortcomings below to be deal breakers. First problem. The venting noise. It is significantly louder than our previous units. And I do mean significantly. When the unit is venting at full temperatures, it interferes with conversation in the kitchen. And the vent continues for 30 minutes after you turn it off. Second problem. The venting fan for the upper oven is just below the control panel, so it forcefully blows hot air right into your face when you approach the oven. It’s uncomfortable and irritating. The last unit vented at the bottom, which was a much better design. Somebody wasn’t thinking when they designed this new venting system. Third problem. The numerical timer indicator is so small that you have to get within two feet of the display to see how much time is left on the timer. Which is doubly irritating in that, when you get that close, the oven is blowing hot air into your face. Again, a weird design change in that, when the timer is on, you want to see the remaining time more than you want to see the time of day. This design has them reversed in importance. You can easily see the time of day but have to get very close to see the remaining time on the kitchen timer. Fourth problem. The sound indicating the end of the timer countdown is so soft that it can barely be heard when you are in the kitchen. Go to a room next to the kitchen, and you can’t hear it. I have it on the loudest setting, and it is still too soft. Again, doubly irritating in that, even when you are in the kitchen, the noise from the oven vent comes close to cancelling out the sound of the timer going off. And, if you are running a high end stovetop vent at the same time, you will never hear it go off. Lastly, the soft sound of the timer lasts for only 15 seconds. If you are in an adjacent room and can’t hear it, there isn’t much of a margin for error. It can easily stop making the sound before you next walk back into the kitchen. If we had known about these shortcomings, we would not have purchased the unit. I wrote to Thermador about all of this, and they chose not to respond.

Due to a power surge we had to replace our old thermador wall oven. Our old one was the top of the line in 2012. This obviously is as step down other than the rotisserie feature (which makes a huge mess) and the upgraded tempeture probe this was acceptable as we were talking months to get a wolf or the higher models of this. Best thing was it fit the hole in the wall. We liked the clock on the old one don’t much care for the computerized clock instead of real clock. The worst absolutely worst thing about this expensive oven is the timer. The only way you can hear the timer is if you are sitting right beside the oven to hear it. Heaven forbid you go in another room and turn on music or the tv. Even running water in the sink onscures the sound of this timer. We are going to have to buy a timer to sit on the counter. We have called thermador - they say there is no fix for this. The timer is supposed to remind you you’re cooking when you go off to do something else. The fact that the timer can be set to shut off the oven at the end of set time does not really help since the oven is still hot while cooling down and whatever is in there keeps cooking. Very disappointing for such an expensive unit,

Beautiful oven, and cooks very well, so that's most important. But the fan is crazy. So loud and annoying while oven is on and during the obnoxiously long cool down period. It's strong enough that the pendants over the island sway whenever on and when there are flowers on the kitchen table 15 feet away you'll see the petals move. Overall very good oven aside from the fan.

I’m preheating my Thermador oven for pizza. Everything is ready, guests have arrived. The oven isn’t quite ready yet but it shuts off!! I shut off the breaker, no change. I tap all the controls, no change. I try the breaker again, still no change. Nothing is on and the oven is completely dark.
