It Does What It Needs To Do... Cool Down My Hard Drive. The Installation Was Easy, Although It Didn't Come With Any Screws, Luckily I Had Spares. Runs On 4-Pin Power Supply, and Has Another 4-Pin Head So You Can Run More Components.Overall I'm Extremely Pleased!!

Installation was pretty straightforward. Just attach it with the provided screws directly on the hard drive. It uses up a hard drive bay, so make sure you have the space as well as an extra 4 pin power connector. After installation, my hard drive temp dropped from 113 F to 78 F. I did not notice a significant increase in noise unless I am running a high end graphics application. That could just be the other fans kicking though. If your drive temps are over 100F do yourself a favor and get one of these fans. I'm buying another for my other drive.

i order this hard drive cooling fan to cool down my hard drive since it's always reaching 50 degree c even when surfing the web. i saw the price and order it and had it shipped to a bestbuy store. after i got the product, i install right away. it's not easy to install and there is no room to schrew the hard drive in the cuddy with the cooling fan attach, but it's do. the result is pleasing with the temputure reaching only at 36 degree c when doing light-wight computing and reach 42 degree c when playing game. overall, this item does not disappointed me, not even a little bit. just hope it last for a good amount of time and won't die on me.

I have two 1tb HDD on my system and it gets really hot inside the case so I got these fans to dissipate the heat of the HDD. Unfortunately my HDDs isn't your typical installation (HP mid tower) so I couldn't really attach these properly. One drive is attached to the base of the case and the other is perpendicular to a bay (cd/dvd bay). I had to attach these fans on top of the HDDs instead using a 3M automotive tape which is very sticky. The fans are quiet. Make sure your PSU has extra power connector for the fan.
