Well bought this gaming keyboard for work... I'm in the transportation business so lots of typing. Went with the gaming keyboard because I needed accuracy and love the mechanical keys....
It is a bit noisy but after good use of it... tends to quite down a bit

The best RGB mechanical keyboard

Pros :
1. Price (when compared to other high end brands)
2. RGB lights are clear and bright
3. Perfect clickty clackty sound
4. No wrist rest or other nonsense
5. Size neither too small nor too big
6. Shape is perfectly simple
7. Solid, sturdy, heavy feel
Cons :
1. Software is impossible to use. No profiles available for download yet and creating your own is very hard.
2. Nothing else included in the box. No key puller or PS2-->USB converter etc.
3. The USB cable is not braided or anything.
4. Media/Volume keys are combined with the Fn keys and not separate buttons. That is not too bad actually because additional buttons would have made the keyboard bigger.
Bottom line:
This is the best or perhaps the only mechanical keyboard with RGB back lights you can buy at this price.

I purchased this keyboard as a replacement to a "cheap" gaming keyboard I had purchased online a year ago. Going from chicklet style keys to mechanical keys is quite an upgrade in my mind. The keys offer a satisfying amount of force to press without being too much and the sound of a mechanical keyboard is like no other. The keyboard is heavy and feels very sturdily built, the only minor drawback is a lack of a braided cord, as this would help deter wear on the wires in the long run. I follow the other reviews in that the software can be a little confusing to use; however, once you get used to it, your color programming options are nearly limitless, with many very cool choices built in. The only other drawback is that software is not included with the keyboard, and requires some digging on the manufacturer's website.
PROS: Satisfying click of keys and force required, heavy and sturdy build, built in Windows-key disabler, lots of color options, price.
CONS: No braided cord, no software included, iffy software
Ultimately a great keyboard, and fantastic price (on sale for $99.99 quite often). The best deal I've found in bang-for-your-buck mechanical keyboards. Plan to spend some time monkeying with the software if you're picky about coloring and styling options though.

Decent budget keyboard but RGB software is awful

This keyboard is a very nice entry for those looking for a first time mechanical keyboard or are on a very tight budget. While it may not have Cherry MX switches, it has Kailh Blue switches which are knockoffs of the Cherry MX switches and are much cheaper then Cherry MX switches as a result. The RGB features, customizablility of the keyboard, and the fact that it is a full size and not a tenkeyless are things I really like about the keyboard. However, the software you have to use to customize the backlighting is very hard to use(e.g. resetting the color code back to the default after you enter it in the text box) made me have to not give this a perfect 5 star rating.

If you are a beginner in all things tech, I would not recommend this to you. I followed the instructions to enable me to change the colors of the back lit keyboard and ended up with a faulty program that would not open. Luckily I loophole-d my way through and was able to do what I wanted inside the program. Other than that issue everything works fine and the keys are comfortable and it's responsive in gaming. I'll be keeping this keyboard.

Mechanical KB are highly subjective in terms of feel, this one is definitely easy to get use to. The RGB lighting is a great upgrade to static backlighting. Software is adequate but could be better. The PosidenZ is very affordable compared to other brands of RGB KB!

This keyboard for the two months I've had it so far has performed exceptionally well I paid 120 but it can go on sale for 99 which is rather good for a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting effects which arn't as good as the corsair k70 rgb or the k95 , but those are at least $80 more and the chroma from razor at least $60 more . But it still has beautiful effects to match whatever color scheme you have , and the keys feel amazing great tactile feedback with a louder and more significant *click* then the chroma from razor( I forget the actual model name) so if your looking for a budget mechanical keyboard with the RGB lighting effects if you can find this keyboard for 99 or lower it is a steal for the performance you get from it .

I've owned a lot of different mechanical keyboards over the last 10 years but, this one is in my top three. The software that comes with the keyboard is a little subpar. What I mean by that is that it's slow and unresponsive and doesn't look very good. However, the keyboard itself feels amazing and I have yet to have a problem with it. The key's are a little bit on the quiet side for my liking but I'm sure some people will be happy to hear that. Overall I would say that this is a worthwhile purchase if you're looking for a cheaper mechanical gaming keyboard. As a side note, if you go through getting the software setup it some of the coolest color and effect customization options out there.

Got this awesome keyboard as a pricematch with a competitor. Very cool, bright mechanical keyboard. The keys make a nice sound upon striking them. I will say its hard to navigate the website to download the proper guide to change the keyboard functions. The program is not very good, but the keyboard its self is fantastic. It could be hard for some users who dont know what to do. Just search online for videos of this keyboard and you can find good help.

Great keyboard by Thermaltake. Software and manual are kind of tricky but it's on par with other $100+ keyboard once it's set up. Blue switches give a nice premium click and the keyboard feels nice and sturdy. I have a feeling this will last quite a while, even for a moderate-heavy gamer like myself.

This keyboard was purchased for my son since he loves my mechanical gaming keyboard so much. He loved the custom lighting and the switches. It has a different feel than my G710+ (Cherry MX Brown) but I love it too.

I have always enjoyed the sound and feel of a mechanical keyboard. This keyboard delivers quite well. The keys are sturdy and have excellent travel. The keyboard itself is packaged together in a nice size and weight.
I like the idea of the color changing back lighting for customization. However, I only have two complaints. The first is that the software to change the lighting is a little difficult to use with difficult to understand instructions. The second is that you can only use the macro keys in game mode which actually disables the windows key. While this is not a deal breaker it is a minor frustration.

I absolutely love this keyboard! I wanted to get into a mechanical keyboard, but didn't want to spend a ton of money to do so as I really wasn't sure how well i would like it. I caught this one one sale and knew I couldn't pass it up. I have no regrets.
The blue switches are a bit loud. This is not problematic for me as I purchased this for my home office. I kinda like the audible feedback for my personal preference. However, I am not sure I could use a mechanical keyboard with the blue switches in my office at work. I believe it would be too distracting in a collaborative environment.

The switches feel and sound good, the leds are super bright with a dimmable brightness... also they are assignable so personalized key colors and multicolowed functions is obtainable, software is reliable and easy to use, also there are separate profiles that can be saved, and assigned from the keyboard without opening the software. All in all the only thing missing from this keyboard is separate macro keys and more lights! Not enough to knock off stars for 100 bucks on sale.

I've never owned a keyboard that was anything more than basic. I have been missing out for my entire life. I will never go back to anything else after this keyboard. The lighting effects are amazing and i love the feel of the clicks while typing. Very responsive and well worth the money.

I had always used standard oem keyboards that came with prebuilt systems. I always wanted a mechanical keyboard with cherry MX Blues. This keyboard not only had that but a great design and at a awesome price. The lighting is easy to setup with limited schemes.

this keyboard is great , I love the key stroke and the feel of the keys but the only thing is that I wish it had an option for the wrist pad/guards. I do suggest that you buy a wrist pad if you do buy this, if not it will feel awkward

I love this keyboard. It's great and I can change the color scheme depending on my mood. Hotkeying the most used in one color or alternating rainbow effect etc is another plus. Currently I have it set for all red and love the illumination at night!

This keyboard is compact and uses blue keys for a nice, clicky typing experience. It's a bit noisy but that's typical of this style of keyboard and it's great for coders and (somewhat) gamers.
