I got this as my 2005 Turbo Cool 850W PSU did not have enough connectors/correct ones to power the new GPU. This is the 3rd PSU that I got from Best Buy and they were very nice about returning the other 2. First one was the Bronze model of this which I got and it was apparently an open box as it was missing 2 runs of the sata cables. I should have known something was off as one end of the plastic wrap was missing but thought that was normal as last time I got a PSU was in 2005. Returned it for the Corsair RM850x as It was listed as $75 on the shelf and one of the employees conformed it BUT at check out it was $150... I vowed to never shop at best buy again... Only reason that I came back was to return the PSU as it didn't work... It apparently is not compatible with my MB. It is ATX 3.1 which after reading up on Corsair did away with the negative 12 volt run and it is now a modulating voltage and left unpinned... So back to BestBuy! Knew that the bronze worked with my system so I looked and found one store with the Gold one and made sure that the box was unopened. So switched it out and now I have a working pc once again!!! This all started as I went from a Geforce 960 to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super on my (apparently 2014) Asus Strix X99 Gaming MB which is apparently impressive as the original psu was from 2005... Which prices are way cheaper as in 2005 the Turbo Cool was around $350 for the 850W. Now looks to be around the $150 price for 850W. SO backstory done. This psu works well and provides enough power to do what is needed and so far their has been no issues with anything. The easy of cable management is way better than 2005! The 8 sata connections is good as I have a dvd drive and 6 hard drives to power!

Excellent product, superior packaging. Requires knowledge of assembly (wiring/plug choice to motherboard, graphics card, etc prior to install) no directions included wiring may scare most if you've never done it before. If you're unsure on doing your installation I believe Bestbuy may offer assistance through their in-house Geeksquard, you probably just have to drop off your tower. Self installation took about 30 mins, I was back up and running within the hr, will take longer if you have to take somewhere to install, which will cost more and take longer. All depending on their workload/time of drop etc. This isnt something you really want to mess up if youre unsure of yourself or have a technical rig set up that you didnt build yourself. Its not rocket science but you can do it yourself. Work backwards and pay attention to your rig. All plugs and wire assembly is included in packaging.

Came into the store close to closing because my current PSU had just died. I was sick from work, unwilling to go those sick days without my PC. Quickly located an associate and inquired on a new power strip and PSU. Grabbed this unit, a modular PSU that was amazing and much easier to wire up than my old non modular unit. I was up and running within 15mins of getting home and tearing it out the box. Very quiet with its quiet fan mode and easily enough power to handle my PCs components and daily tasks.

This is a sleek and quiet power supply with a good efficiency rating, and word-of-mouth recommends this model over the (slightly) cheaper options on the market at this wattage and rating. The fully-modular design means you only have to deal with the cables you actually need for your build. The only downsides are that it is quite difficult to remove a bus once it is fitted to the PSU and that some cases will require affixing the PSU upside-down for airflow, which could irritate some people.

I was having issues with my PC and replaced my power supply with this since it was within my budget and had all of my preferred features. I love that it's fully modular and has a smart zero fan. The issues I was having ended up not being my power supply, but I kept this in my PC anyway since it worked so well.

This has been running excellent in my new pc for over a month now. No complaints as it powers my Ryzen 7 9800X3D & RTX 5070. The cables were easy to work with as well. Super quiet and has an option for silent mode as well.

Never underestimate how much power you need for your pc if you are doing a build. My last power supply after 4 years blew up on me one day and it was my mistake for not realizing i need more watts. This one runs well and is super quiet. Fits well in a mid size tower.

Not sure I’m the best person to be rating this because I’ve never built a PC before. Replacing my old one with this one was a bit of a challenge because a few of the cables looked exactly the same, but we’re definitely not interchangeable. Product itself seems to work well. Sometimes my computer doesn’t go into sleep mode fully now and I have to flip the switch in the back and then when I flip it on it just automatically turns on instead of needing the power button pressed. Not sure if this is to do with the PSU or my motherboard or something else. I’m using an Asus ROG prebuilt if that helps anybody.
