This is very easy to install and connect.

The power supply should also have a status indicator light on the back so one can see at a glance if the power supply has a problem. This power supply offers Over-Voltage, Over-Power, and Short Circuit protection but there are no external indicators for those kinds of events.

Great if you need a replacement power supply

It was much quieter than my stock one. I had to modify my tower a little bit for it to fit right, but I think that was more a problem with the Dell tower I was using and not this unit.

Suitable for a mid-range machine

Most units look like they have a small fan, this one is so big it makes it look larger than it is. In terms of use it does the job, no complaints. This whole unit is quite impressive in looks and feel. It did not stop a long term problem that we thought was related. This was the only unit in store with the correct pin arrangement for my cpu.

From time to time you might encounter DOA one, but Best Buy's return policy is no problem. Runs cool and quiet.Thermaltake is a trusty name.
