Love the game. I always enjoy the stealth assassin type games and this one is perfect.

I have waited for this game for quite some time ever since hearing of the concept being announced. Having played the first three games in the series (not required to play this one though) I think perhaps I expected too much. The prior Thief games have had innovation and great story depth with excellent level design and an AI that would react in kind to you dynamically - just as it should. While playing this game I found that the story seems to wander and splinter too much to resolve into anything that makes any sense in the end. I just don't feel it flows well from point A to point B as it should and certainly not as well as the older games. The game graphics, which good, are nothing we haven't seen before - it's Unreal engine...we've seen it already. The lighting and sound effects do seem to be as expected, high quality. My only complaint about the sound is that the level isn't consistant - it will play some conversations over others without regard to your proximity. I know this particular dialogue may be important, but in a stealth game I need to be able to hear where people are - cutscene the parts you think I need to focus on and be done with it. Unfortunately, while I enjoyed playing the game a good bit I simply do not feel it is a good value for dollar at the release price. I would recommend it for anyone who thinks it might be interesting however I would only do so at the $30-40 price point and not the $59.95 point it was when I purchased it. Even though it took many hours to actually wrap up the game I just don't feel I got $60 worth of enjoyment from it. I didn't feel 'cheated' like I did while playing Force Unleashed 2 and finishing it in 2 hours, just not satisfied in some areas. Please take this review with a grain of salt, as a fan of the prior games I had very high hopes for this one which I do not feel were completely met. It is a fine game by itself, but I still disagree with the release price of this game.

I really wasn't expecting much from Thief when I picked it up. I was looking to bridge from Tomb Raider to Titanfall. I spun the game up and I was pleasantly surprised. The graphics were great and the attention to detail really draws you in. The one knock I have on this developer is that most of their games become extensions of Assassin's Creed in terms of the mechanics and game play. This is another game where your goal is be stealthy (go figure with a name like Thief) but none the less, you must LOVE this approach to enjoy this game. Some of the story telling gets a bit disjointed, but none the less this is a good game during a time there is nothing else really "new".

I bought this game for a friend, and he absolutely loves it. The price you get for it now, is a no-brainer. Get it, as it has an excellent story and great graphics.

If you like stealth games, you'll have fun. Customizable difficulty lets you make it as hard or easy as you like. It's not the best in the Thief franchise, but its a good game.

Game was really fun, especially online play. I have since then purchased another game from Best Buy do to the convenience of having the Best Buy card. Its always a great experience and I will be buying again shortly.

A great new take on a FPS. Instead of shooting everything in sight, you must try to be as stealthy as possible to avoid detection, only fighting when necessary.

This old game that was once a great computer game is now redone with much better graphics. If you loved the original game then you'll really love this one.

I got this initially thinking it would be something similar to the Assassins Creed series, which it started out as. After getting farther into the game, it moved to stealth only in which you must think out side of the box to finish the mission objectives with 100%. I would recommend having a good surround sound system/headset when playing to get everything you can from the awesome sounds.

I was hoping for a more open world like skyrim but this is more mission based and more puzzles on how to get from a to b.

The game seems to have very nice graphics. Starting off a little slow paced for me though right now. Hopefully it picks up but not bad so far overall.
