I have Q800 and linking up is the worst experience with that product. Fortunately, the bluetooth 5.0 allow having a thinkware more bearable. Faster link up and the welcoming message is more pleasant than previous models.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The camera has been reliable but can only read license plates when it and the car in front is stationary. There's significant windshield glare as well. The interface software is good - easy to connect to the camera and set the various options. The PC viewing software that you download from Thinkware is very jerky and difficult to watch. Regular mpg players will play back the recordings smoothly however.

Posted .Hello, we do apologize for the inconvenience of viewing the recordings through PC Viewer. If you're having a glare on the windshield, we suggest installing a CPL filter.
Buyer Beware... Choose a different brand

I purchased two different models with store installation. Both had great picture quality, when the camera function worked properly. Unfortunately, both cameras were undependable. I ultimately discovered the Thinkware product technology is substandard and only works intermittently. Ugh. I was very excited to purchase the Thinkware brand and did not invest the time necessary to properly research before my purchase... so my experience was a lesson learned for me (twice). Don't be fooled by the higher star "fluff" reviews that appear legit.. the camera function is not dependable and may not work when you want it to. Save your money and time.. choose a different brand.
