It requires you to be near the dashcam in order to access the footage. While the hardware is good and works, the software app thats made for these dashcams isn't good at all. I'll find myself waiting awhile for it to load up the footage and doesn't really show you which specific one you're looking at. Takes awhile to look uo the right footage and at what time. Almost wish i had gone with a Rexing cause of how bad the app is
