Heard a few old Boston sounds on the radio and got me thinking about how good their music was in the 80's. The classics live on

Boston created a Rock marvel with Third Stage!

Boston's "Third Stage" is loaded with Classic Rock hits. "Amanda" and "Hollyann" are both smooth paced ballads that rock with their up tempo mood and atmosphere. "We're Ready", "I Think I Like It" and "Can'tcha Say" are the steady Hard Rock winners here that swell with a positive outlook on life and are surefire tunes to get you upbeat. "The Launch" is a dynamo of an introduction to "Cool The Engines", this is the highlight for me on this album. Boston really cranks it out on all musical cylinders with "The Launch" and "Cool The Engines", it is a moment on this album that was meant to get you psyched! Brad Delp is just amazing with vocals on this album, his voice will live on forever with this album and the entire Boston catalog of music. The liner notes are so neat to read. Tom Scholz (lead guitar & many more instruments) breaks down just how "Third Stage" was created musically and with what recording equipment. Honestly, this write up from Tom Scholz is an interesting and insightful bonus. All the lyrics are found in the liner notes, along with detailed credits. "Third Stage" is an album that I appreciate all the more each time I listen to it, I hope it has the same affect on new Boston fans who buy it as well.

This is another great Boston album. I love the ballad, Amanda, it has such a great tune to it. After listening this album from my dad's vinyls, I had to buy it to put on my computer.
