In this CD, you will find, that it's not just music with Rhymes, but music with meaning! The lyrics explain life stories, and are very inspiring. You will not be unsatisfied. The music is hard rock, mixed with some classic era guitar riffs, and even some songs that wouldnt even be classified as rock, but are still loved by the same audience. I strongly encourage buying and enjoying this album, and all it's surprises.

I havent been a long time fan, or a die hard fan, Just someone who likes to listen to music. I stumbled onto SixxAM's last album about a year ago, and liked it a fair amount. "This is gonna hurt" I bought the day it came out, And i love it. THe first 4 songs are in my opinion the best on the whole album. The sound is great and unique, and a must have for any fan, or someone looking to hear something good.

Sixx:AM have outdone themselves with this amazing new album. The heroin diaries was a great album as well but this sophomore album is incredible. Have no doubt if you're not sure about purchasing it. You will get your money's worth. ALL 11 songs are awesome!!! I cannot stop listening to it and it makes me excited to think of what the future may bring from Sixx:AM. This is a steal for the price!!!

That's what Nikki, James and Ashba put in the new album. From "The heroin diaries" to "This is gonna hurt" you can notice that the band have been working really hard. I can tell that the lyrics are way deeper than in the first album, there is more expressivity and passion. Heavy songs and ballads...Sixx.A.M gave us the real essence and face of rock n roll. Great job!

I'm enjoying this album even more than the first one! Oh My God and Skin are my favorites. Both have very powerful lyrics and of course great guitar riffs! And of course Skin has the beautiful piano part. Then there's the loud and proud title track! There's not a week track on it!

I love the new album of Sixx:A.M., they definitely know how to make some really good music! This Is Gonna Hurt is even better than the Heroin Diaries, and it has a deeper meaning. It's full of emotion, expression, and I think Sixx:A.M. is one of the greatest new bands of all times! This Is Gonna Hurt is definitely a cd every metal/rock fan has to buy.

'This is a gonna hurt' is a beautifully crafted, brilliant and epic album that I would recommend to pretty much anyone. Positive points: Dj Ashba's solos are AMAZING. Some of the best guitaring I've heard in ages. The lyrics are outstanding, and James Michael delivers them perfectly. Also, 'This is Gonna hurt', the opening track, is one of the most 'in your face' album starts I've ever heard. I absolutely love that song! Negative points: 'Sure feels right' feels really out of place. It's an outstanding song, but it doesn't really flow well with the rest of the album. Cover art is average - reminds me of Good Charlottes 'Cardiology'. All in all, I would definitely recommend this, especially if you're a fan of bands such as 'Papa Roach', or Motley Crue themselves.

This is is , without any doubt the best CD of 2011 . I can't stop listening since i bought my CD , simply amazing ... Each song have their special feeling, it's like each one of them was made to be a special song. Really love this album, and Sixx A.M . Recommend for all !

This is gonna hurt is probably the best album i have ever heard the lyrics are meaningful and the songs are great even though they are very different, from "this is gonna hurt" to "skin" they vary a lot in rhytm,speed and meaning it is pretty much the best album i have ever heard and i reccomend it to every music lover out there.

Songs that make you think/remember/relive those moments in your life that affected you the most. The heartaches, the little victories, the joyful moments that made you smile. This album has great lyrics, vocals and music. Nikki, James, and DJ Ashba are a winning combination, and it shows in this follow-up to The Heroin Diaries.

Album is amazing. Even though completely different than Heroin Diaries, Sixx A.M. delivers a punch in the face of great music, hard riffs, and moving lyrics. I recmend this album to ALL!! Also if listened to while reading the book, the album and book become evenr more a powerful message to the masses.

Overall, this CD was one of the best CD's I've heard in a while. I can't stop listening to it and each time I listen to it, it amazes me over and over. Sixx AM really did a great job with this soundtrack to their second book. Its just as good as their first soundtrack, The Heroin Diaries.

Just excellent, the music is fantastic, it just expresses as much as the book does. James' vocals are terrifying, he got better this time. Ashba made did a great work with the guitars, and the writing by Sixx is incredible. Definitely a must-have.

Yes Sixx:A.M. Has made another winner after their follow up to the heroin diaries soundtrack, TIGH Is an amazing album! Greeat songs are This is gonna hurt, Live forever, smile, oh my god, and skin. they are all amazing!

The second album for Sixx:A.M. goes further than almost all other bands lyrically. This album touches on the many forms of beauty and how to seek it out everywhere. It's a great pick-me-up album and very eye opening. :)

When I listened this album for the first time I almost cried. Lyrics are amazing. The music is perfect. James, Ashba and Nikki are amazing musicians and they did a great work here. It's the best album of the year.

This is the greatest album that has ever been released. The lyrics are breath taking and sends chills all over me. Very touching! Can't wait for the next one!

One of the most incredible albums I've heard in a long time, or at least since the Heroin Diaries. I think it will be years until something new tops this, IF something ever does.

All tracks awesome... if you wanna be inspired and think about hope then you need this CD. sixx and the guys have outdone themselves this time around - it does not disappoint
