Sounds like her 1st albums, heavy bluesy electric guitars, not jangly harmonics of breakdown, or varied sound of Awakening. Lyrics like early work, pick up lovers, drink, not spiritual Awakening cd. Songs are catchy & lyrics are subtle, meaningful, a date pickup song is also an AA anthem, wow! This is both GREAT music to dance & think to, with a classic rock feel. And her singing is as great as Janis Joplin..

She finally goes back to her roots. stops feeling sorry for herself and rocks likes the self assured woman that she is. make no mistake, this is a good thing. i wish her nothing but the best. i've seen her multiple times in concert and she does it great.

The emotions are raw... You can tell she's coming from a better place! If you love her, you'll love this album...

Similar to previous albums but some new sounds and great songs as always

Always a great sound. We enjoy this cd alot. If you are a fan, get it.

Melissa makes another great CD/music as always !!!

Every song is catchy and of course tells a story as Melissa's songs usually do. These songs are refreshing and upbeat. I especially like the innuendos of the song "All the way home". And "Monster" 's beat is great. This CD is one you will love to play in the car as well as at home.

Sad to say that Melissa is getting repetitive and even rhyming like Lionel Richie. Tough to beat Yes I Am, but that raspy, monster voice we love seems to be fading.

A definite return to form. Yeah, "artists" need to grow and experiment, but they should also know what their strengths and weaknesses are, and ME is a return to the soulful belting of her earlier albums, which, were, coincidentally, her best albums. Enjoyed it a lot.

I went to see Melissa in concert. She played the tunes on this CD. I enjoyed the songs at the show and now I am enjoying them at home.

I have been listening to Melissa's music since the beginning of her career and this CD reminded me a little more like her older music. I really enjoyed it.

Melissa has always delivered and this does not disappoint, you can get other CD's but shouldn't miss out on one of the greatest voices since Janis Joplin

Amazing tunes. Songs that make you think and dream and you will be singing them right along with Melissa when you hear them playing.

Melissa has connected with a new producer so some of her sound is different, but still plenty of the Melissa that we love!

Even better than her last CD, Melissa Ethridge's voice and style has traces of her earlier hits, with a new twist.

This cd just covers it all , makes u wanna get up and dance ,,, great cd

One of her best CD's ever. I recommend to any music lover out there.
