Funny 80's movie. Best Buy had a great sale so I had to get it.

Wasn't the worst I've seen it wasn't the best either

This movie is not the greatest movie ever made, but as far as fake documentaries about bands go I'd probably rate it number one. That itself doesn't say much, because if you get really specific in how you describe the genre of any movie you can probably say it's number one in some way (Ex: House of the Dead is the number one zombie movie, based on a videogame that used ridiculously placed clips from the source material as a gimmick) but that doesn't mean the movie itself is that great (Ex: House of the Dead is terrible) In this case however the movie actually stands outside of it's genre as a timeless and enjoyable piece of entertainment. Oh yeah, Minnesota doesn't have anything to do with this review, I just accidentally put my location into the headline spot and went with it. It felt right.

Either you get it or you don't, but no one can argue that Spinal Tap is the best band to ever come out of England. Veteran film maker Marti DeBergi does a splendid job of capturing the sights, the sounds and yes, the smells of a hard-working and sometimes spontaneously combusting rock band. If you thought "The Last Waltz" was the end-all of rockumentaries, think again. "This is Spinal Tap" will make your ear drums bleed!

Just as funny as it was when it came out 30 years ago! Includes a ton of extras including outtakes and deleted scenes. Sounds best in Dobly!

A movie as great as This is Spinal Tap deserves to be seen in the best quality as possible. The bonus dvd has a great live performance.

Spinal Tap is absolutely one of the best films about Rock & Roll ever!!!

It's Spinal Tap... if you haven't seen it then you really must! This particular version of the movie seems to be a really cheaply made disc, so I hope it doesn't wear out or peel.

This movie is great from start to finish. Classic movie that everyone should watch.

A very well put together dvd set celebrates this Rob Reiner cult-classic film. Recommended for fans of the film only.
