If you know what your doing it's not too bad of a game. For the full price its not all worth it to me. Some like this style of gameplay. I kinda don't and do, but it's enjoyable when I'm able to play it.

I have this game on GOG, i got it about 2 or 3 years ago. Its a phenomenal game. Great music, the tone is incredible, and just the flow of the game is great. I recently got a Switch and decided to try this game out since it is the complete edition and its physical (as oposed to GOG). Game handles great, it is a little bit harder than the PC counterpart, since with PC you can kind of navigate a lot easier with shortcuts and mouse. It seems that the flow of time has been edited, it seems that time flows much slower, which helps compensate for the movement limitations that you get on the console. However, this port to the switch is great! I recomend this game. Just consider the impatc that a video game can have: In 2020, the Polish Chancellery of the Prime Minister announced that This War of Mine will be added to the recommended reading list in Polish high schools

This games perspective is of civilians in a war torn country trying to survive. It is powerful, emotional, and full of tough decisions. I definitely recommend anyone to check this out especially if you are into survival type games

It is different than I thought it would be. It is kinda addictive because you want to see if there is a chance at a good outcome. But plays more like a board game.

Morbid and dreary game but great indie game with decent replay value. Just wish they would release the DLC as the "Complete Edition" is a little misleading

I am not a big fan of survival games but this is a very special game. Definitely not a game for everyone, but the goal of depicting desperation for average people during a war comes across in a powerful way. After getting this game, I played it for hours straight through the night. As expected with a survival game, when you die all your progress is gone and the game is over. The game makes you feel very disadvantaged and desperate at the beginning. Just having enough food or medicine is an accomplishment. However, when you make a bad decision and loose it all, you really feel like giving up and not starting from the beginning right away. This Complete Edition is a great buy. The visuals have all been updated, and it includes all the Story DLC which have their own unique gameplay.

Do not attempt to purchase this game. The developer is not selling these codes to bestbuy. Bestbuy will take your money, and hope you forget because there will be no contact, or notice that they are not given rights to sell this code. I had to call and complain get this info. 24 hours before I called, 24 hours getting the run around and call backs, and another 24 hours before my money was released back to me.
