I wanted a new sound system for my computer desk. I spent a lot of time looking at Best Buy systems, because I had a limlited budget. I have to admit this is a very good system for the price. The sub woofer is a bit large for the space under my desk, and it was annoying to have to feed raw speaker wires into the sockets, as opposed to just plugging in. There is a deep bass sound and nice mids. I would have liked a bit more treble on top, but on the whole, I"m satisfied.

These speakers were on sale, at almost half not it seemed like a no-brainer to try them out. I had never heard of the brand before but they had a handsome presentation that I could get behind. The first thing you notice with this brand is it's very German. They flaunt their German engineering and flag colors. This should mean very high quality... and going purely by looks yes. However as soon as I hooked them up to my TV and powered them on I noticed a very strong hiss. This hiss is loud enough to hear over a room of 2-3 people conversing. I thought maybe I could deaden this feedback sound with a surge protector this did not help. After a while I noticed that it was actually PICKING UP NPR the local radio version in Detroit. That is just ridiculous! I am returning these asap and getting speaker with proper shielding from a brand I trust this time. Do Not Buy!

These aren't concert speakers to drown out a crowd, but they do get loud and are very clear. No hard bass, but clean crisp response. Love em

Bought for my fiance. She loves them. Paired to a mac sound great. Clear highs, solid mids and not drowning out bass. Just right.

I got this to replace my speakers in the shed. There so load.

It seemed to be high quality but had to return this as the speaker sound was distorted and cracking. The base speaker also didn't produce any sound.
