    Bought this movie because it is part of the Marvel Universe. If you watch other “Thor” movies, you need this for background on characters.

    I got this movie to show off my home theater and it doesn't disappoint. The sound is stellar, and the picture is just less than stellar. The movie is meh.

    The Marvel Movie Universe had to set up for the Avengers, and Thor did very well in establishing this core character. A fun movie to watch, and well worth picking up.

    In my opinion this first Thor movie is still the best. The sequels are fine, but there is just something better about the first. Will acted with lots of funny moments to keep the audience entertained. A definite recommendation.

    This is a must have in any Marvel fan's collection. Chris Hemsworth kills as Thor and nobody else could ever be Loki the way Tom Hiddleston is
