THOR is a God of Cooktops! We looked in stores and online for a 36" replacement to our cooktop that cracked due to a dropped item. It remained usable as it was cracked below the control knobs and that didn't interfere with the overall operation--but we needed to replace it and it must have been at least 15 years old. We almost purchased 2 other options, but we weren't in a hurry and kept looking for the BEST option. This THOR unit has a few MUST HAVE's. A bridge for the dual cooking and digital controls--no knobs allowed! It also has a Triple element in the center burner--which is also located so conveniently in the center! I installed it myself (fairly easily-although I did need to shave 1/4 inch off of the opening), and was very pleased with the operation! The burners are POWERFUL and heat up quickly. The built-in timer is a GREAT addition because I'm usually using the oven and the microwave timers for other items. This THOR product ALSO happened to be just about HALF the price of most of the other 36" cooktops we looked at and I couldn't be happier with the performance of this unit even if I had paid double the price. Way to go THOR! Hammer drop...

Do not waste your time or money on Thor products! I purchased this brand new Cooktop November 2023. It is June 2024 and I have not been able to cook in my kitchen! That is ridiculous, Thee cooktop came damaged and I reported it to Thor they had a gentleman come out. to repair it. Of course there is parts that needed to be ordered to fix the cooktop. Thor does not have the parts, the claim the parts are on back order. Back order for 8 MONTHS!!! I regret ever purchasing their product! What a waste. Thor should not be selling products they do not have parts for. They were supposedly supposed to reach out to me and never did. Terrible.

Dont buy this model. Best buy was few weeks late delivering the product to me. Once I receive the product. It's broken inside. Best buy response is - passed return/exchange date. Call Thor. Called Thor. they answered. The person in customer service said to put a Warranty service request online. 24 response time. 24 hours also passed. no one contacted. Only thing I have is a broken $766 cooktop, no help. Had to pay $200 for electrician to install back my old Whirlpool cooktop. What a waste of money. I read the online other reviews and thought Thor is good brand. Learning it hard way.

Easy to use and clean. Stylish all black burners with remaining black surface dotted with small light colored Ts. I like the lock feature. I haven't used the dual burner yet but it's nice knowing it's there. Install service was great.

had to replace on old coil electric cooktop, but had to upsize due to old sizing. has been easy to use and seems to be good and even heating overall.

After the first cooktop did not fit in our countertop space, we returned the item and searched for another replacement. The salesperson studied all of the cooktops available again and found one that was less expensive but needed a slight modification of the countertop. He found an installer that would do the modification. Installation went very smooth, and we are very pleased with our new cooktop.

I purchased an electric glass cooktop from Best Buy which unfortunately was defective. I must commend the Best Buy team for their courtesy in processing a return and refund for me. Joyce
