The third Thor movie is so much more watchable than the first two. There's not much to the plot, but has style and humor that will keep you entertained all the way through. The funniest apocalypse movie ever.

What do you do when a character just doesn't catch on with the public like they have with Iron Man or Captain America? You abandon everything the character is, in the comics, and you make a self-aware spoof comedy to "reboot" him for the general movie watcher. I avoided this movie while it was in theaters because it just annoyed me that Marvel was just turning this character into a joke. Still... I watched it when it came out on 4k. I watched it having put away any desire to see Thor and just watched it when the desire to see a comedy hit me. When I went into the movie that way, I actually enjoyed it. I "forced myself" to ignore that, not only was Thor a joke now, but so was the Hulk. Two of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe were just comedic goofs now. Anyway... as a comedy/spoof movie, it's really funny. Jeff Goldblum is wonderful in every way and Chris Hemsworth is really funny as this new, pathetic, stupid, goofball caricature of Thor. So... 3 stars because I laughed. 3 stars because Marvel is lame for doing this to Thor.

Completely different tone than the first two, and yet it works beautifully! Just a tom of fun, great action and laughs while remaining true to the MCU. Not to mention, looks and sounds amazing.

for a third installment. Didn't think I would like any Thor movie but ended up liking all 3. The only person I missed was Natalie Portman. Would have liked to see their relationship continued.

I liked the movie but thought some scenes were silly and could have been left out...that said the 4K transfer to me was good. Some thought it was excellent. I thought it could have had beetter contrast and more intense but that can probably be adjusted with TV settings.. Either way it's worthy of 4K. Hela is the best part of the movie though..She really kicks butt..literally !

The previous Thor films were a step in the wrong direction for the character. Ragnarok, however, fixes that problem and brings Thor new life and adventure that he desperately needed.

Another awesome movie i can hardly wait to see the next installment this is going to be awesome off the chart Guardian of the Galaxy Meet up with thor going to be a blast.

This movie is a great change of pace for marvel. It is a must own.

This was a fun and funny movie! Very entertaining, and it looks great in 4K!

Finally, a good Thor film! The previous films were lackluster; however, this one brings a refreshing twist to the character of the God of Thunder! Along with the Hulk, he's essentially been turned into a Guardian of the Galaxy, jesting his way through the film. The action is great, too, but quite a few characters are underused, and the light tone prevents the film from having any emotional heft. That's Disney for ya, and that's why I like DC better: real consequences (at least in the good D.C. films!). Still, Ragnarok provides plenty of entertainment, if not much heart.

Non stop laughing from beginning to end, also has so many great visuals. One of the MCU's best movies overall.

Worst Marvel movie since Dr.Strange! Very poor screen writing! Most of the scenes are just horrible. I actually like the plot, but they fall flat with poor vision, and directing! This movie had a lot of potential, but they fail in all areas of this movie! The best parts of the movie is when Thor gets his powers, but they still fall flat with that. I recommend renting it from Redbox, or somewhere. I loved all the Thor movies until Ragnarok! Please rent it first. This movie is more cartoonish than an actual marvel movie. The planet where Thor meets Hulk, everything done in these scenes are just horrible! It has no real vision! Like I said earlier poor screen writing, and directing!

Comedy that doesn't fit the characters. A lot of forced slapstick comedy. Don't buy if you like Thor or comedy that is age appropriate
