Thor is stuck on planet called Sakaar. His powers are suppressed so he's unable to escape. He must fight in the arena to survive, only to find he has to battle his friend, the Hulk. Thor needs to get back to Asgard before his world is destroyed by a villain named Hela.

This movie is very very different from the previous Thor movies. The characters are hilarious. The serious Thor is gone and a goofy one has replaced him. For better or worse. I liked the serious Thor movies but this movie is definitely more memorable than its predecessors.

This is by far one of the best movies in all the Marvel movies. ( First Iron man as good) . Great side story and character development. Thor is made into a much more important player in the universe. Hulk as well. enjoyed it over and over. Especially great in 4K.

I watched the other two and almost passed on this one. I'm glad I didn't! This movie was nothing like the others in the series. The humor was over the top and perfect. I laughed through most of the movie and the action was perfectly woven throughout. A great watch!

Thor is back with a new weapon in his arsenal, humor. I never thought in a million years that I was going to like a Marvel movie with this much humor, but after the first joke was cracked I found myself waiting anxiously for the next. . . and the next. . .

I am a Marvel SUPER fan and I have watched this movie, no joke, at least twenty times. It’s amazing, funny, serious at times, but very story centered. Loki (TH) is my FAVorite character, and he gets a decent amount of screen time in this Thor film. LOVE it!

This is not only one of my favorite marvel movies I feel it’s one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen

There was nothing I did not like about this movie. Well, except for the deaths of the warriors three. I absolutely loved it. My favorite of the Thor movies. So many funny moments. The music was perfect. It was a great lead into the Avengers: Infinity War.

There are two major plot lines in this film that come together at the end. There’s also lots of character development, showing sides of both Thor and the Hulk that haven’t been seen before. Fun and sad. Avengers Infinity Wars picks up right after this film.

Mcu fans this is a must have. Funny, great fight scenes, the beautiful Tessa Thompson and in 4k. The other Thor movies were dark and not as entertaining. This one is very good. The exchanges between Thor and Hulk hilarious. Must have for your collection.

While I didn't mind the first Thor movie, the Dark World was no good and this was a refreshing change. I loved Thor and Hulk, as well as Valkyrie. My one complaint was that maybe there was a little too much humor in the movie, but it was still good.

This is honestly the movie that got me to really like Thor. I enjoyed him fine in the first two movies and first two Avengers. But from this movie on I really enjoy his story and character. Plus it's funny and it's one of the best Hulk movies as well

Even if you're not a huge Marvel fan, this is a great film and one to add to your collection! We own every Marvel film as they come out, and this is one of our favorites! A must see for fans of adventure, with a bit of humor thrown in throughout!

I actually didn't like the movie when we saw it in the theatre, but after more watches, it was fun and feel that this movie is a key movie for the overall arch of Thor's character for Endgame... so, while the movie (itself) was a bit 'out there', it will likely be very significant in the end. The video and features were decent too.. we tend to watch the digital copy almost all the time which includes the features too, so, it is pretty convenient to have the digital copies.

this is a really fun movie as long as you don't take it too seriously. It is a great popcorn flick. There is enough substance to keep the woman happy and enough action for the men. an all around good movie to spend time with.

It's fun, the cast is great, and finally it looks like Thor has found his groove. Nothing feels forced and adding Hulk into the mix has really upped the fun here. Also seeing Jeff Goldblum in full EDM mode is just a laugh riot.

My family love this movie. Some might be put off by the humor but this is by far the best of the Thor stand alone films. If I have one complaint it’s that the movies director plays a cgi character for comedic relief and has far too many scenes. I just don’t think his inclusion was necessary at all and actually hurts the movie. Also far too little of the always entertaining Karl Urban. Cate Blanchette is amazing as always.

Still perhaps the best thor movie. and looks great in 4k

This movie is so much fun. The feel is a bit different from the first 2 Thor movies, once I was able to get past that I loved it. It's fun and offers multiple heartwarming moments. Not to mention a great soundtrack!

This movie moved into my top 5 of marvel movies. The story is awesome. Grandmaster is hilarious. Plus a different side of thor we have never seen on screen. Cool steelbook. Definitely recommended to all.
