It's exciting to see all of the MCU titles finally coming to 4K UHD! Thor: The Dark World looks and sounds incredible and is a must-have for any fan!

I love this movie. The quality is amazing. So much better than the blu ray version. I highly recommend. Another great best buy only product.

For any Marvel fan who wants that extra special picture quality, you won’t go wrong for getting it on 4k. Highly recommend picking them all up.

I love the movie. Wish it was available in 4K, but the overall picture quality of it is still good. If you have a TV that has 4k upscaling, you can hardly tell that it's not a 4k movie.

All three Iron Man movies in similar steelbook packaging - fantastic! If only all three Thor movies could have had the same consistancy ...

In a list of the favorites of the 23 Marvel movies, Thor Dark World often comes in last. But I liked it. Even more now in 4K definition.

Great action movie, part of the Marvel universe of movies. This packaging included digital version which allows you to watch movie anywhere including mobile without the physical DVD.

Maybe I’m completely bias but I loved this movie. Completely cute humor with a tie in to all Avenger movies. Great addition to our collection.

Nice to have the steelbook for the movie. And I actually enjoy this Marvel film. Many elements make it better than its "bad rep" lets on.

The first Thor skated by mostly on charm - Chris Hemsworth & Tom Hiddleston's, specifically. After a steady uptick in the quality of the Marvel films, we were all hoping that Thor 2 could take some of the lessons learned from Cap/Avengers/Iron Man 3 and really go to work, giving the God of Thunder and his associates a cosmic-level crisis into which they could dig their teeth, underpinned by some better material for the characters we'd come to love. Well, The Dark World definitely succeeds in raising the stakes, both in regards to danger, and the presentation of that danger, but it still feels more like we're seeing points checked off a list than an actual story unfold onscreen. Everything moves faster this time, but too fast for anything to leave much of an impact. When you have your bad guys played by actors as accomplished as Christopher Eccleston and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, you want them to savor their villainy, to be able to relish in their presence, but instead they glower in the darkness, with barely enough time to articulate their motivations, let alone craft characters. But, really, we're not watching Thor for thoughtful musings on the nature of power, or good and evil, or the advent of a Darth Vader-ian bad guy, but for a pair of brothers, to see if their bond of family can really be severed by lies and betrayal. Every complaint about The Dark World fades away when Hemsworth and Hiddleston are onscreen - the film snaps to life when Thor and Loki stand together. The strength of the Marvel films has really been in their casting, and these two are some of the brightest shining lights in the sky. Actually, the whole cast of humans & Asgardians is utilized darn well here - even Renee Russo, whom I'd honestly forgotten was even in the first Thor. All of our heroes, and their friends, get at least a moment to shine (usually in one of The Dark World's many spectacular action setpieces), and for us to remember why we liked them so much in the first film. Marvel also keeps up their burgeoning tradition of quality extras on their home-media releases; the short film one-shot, "All Hail The King," is hilarious and thrilling. All in all, Thor: The Dark World is immensely satisfying, if still less than it could've been.

I bought these for my kids, so they could have them all for future viewings. I pulled the trigger when they were on sale. Overall they are pretty well made and tell a good story.

The movie sucks HOWEVER the actual Blu Ray is great. Contains good discs that are clean and work and the package is sturdy and good quality.

Who doesn't love the Thor Movie Series. Great movie, great acting by Chris Hemsworth and the rest of the cast. Keep them coming!

This movie made me feel like I was on another planet with Thor. It was a visual masterpiece and introduces the MCUs first truly great Villain

Thor The Dark World has some decent superhero action, a lot S.H.I.E.L.D. stuff, and a sense of humor about itself and its characters. Thor TDW is not afraid to include levity which makes it a funny, enjoyable movie. But when the movie gets Serious, luckily that’s not too often, the movie tends to get into a bit of trouble. In the humor department. There are a few actors who are clearly the movie’s Shining Star. Kat Dennings, as Darcy, Stellan Skarsgård, as Erik Selvig, and Tom Hiddleston,,as Loki, gives Tumblr even more reason to love him here. Any time one or more of them come onscreen, you are guaranteed an enjoyable scene. Ray Stevenson’s character, Volstagg, is a lot of fun, and Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, gets some hilarious moments. There is one Big battle scene, at the end, that may be the best gag in the entire movie. It is hard to go wrong with a “Thor doing mundane Earth stuff” bit but Every one of these works! Speaking of battles, the action scenes in this movie far surpasses the first movie’s action sequences by leaps and bounds. The Big final battle considerably climbs up in terms of stake and also gets lots of characters involved. Jane Foster, Selvig and Darcy all played roles in helping Thor deal with this worlds-threatening event. Just about every character gets a chance to shine. Sif has a couple awesome fight moments. Fandral gets to swashbuckle. Volstagg gets to fight off a horde of attackers. Loki has a great Battle. Even Heimdall, who doesn’t usually have a chance to see much action, has a really cool spotlight moment. The movie doesn't disappoint being a sequel!. It is sure to be a hit on Family Movie Night!

If your keeping track from the first Thor film this will fit right in after the first avengers movie. Do not miss this movie.
