Watched this movie first as a child. I had completely forgot about it until i saw a reel on Martin Shorts career. I was instantly reminded of how great the movie was and the awesome thing is that this comedy holds up to the test of time. There are many comedies that are so niche comedies that only a certain group of people for a certain time will find them funny. This transends that and is still as funny as when I saw it as a child. Great movie.

I’ve known about this film for years but saw it for the first time recently when I purchased it on Black Friday. The $1.99 price tag was too good to resist. Not my favorite John Landis movie (Coming To America is) but it is enjoyable and harkens back to a time when family comedies weren’t as corny as the ones you’ll see today. The highlight to me had to be the Blue Shadows scene. Even though it’s a musical number scene, it was quite heartwarming and really gets to the heart of what the film is- a nice, friendly film the whole family can watch and enjoy.

This is a WONDERFUL Classic comedy with three of the best SNL members! Chevy Chase, Martin Short, & Steve Martin perform a great story that’s far better to buy here rather than rent numerous times digitally to watch it.

Classic stuff from some of the best comedians in the biz. Has its fair share of stupid scenes in it of course, but all-in-all good fun.

Yeah, I am converting back to "old school" - DVDs. They are just so much easier than all this streaming stuff these days. Love this movie - it's a movie so it is all personal preference. :-) Going old school - DVDs (no streaming apps needed)

Another great one from the 80s (I’m sorry for all who didn’t get to experience it firsthand) Really great movie. One the funniest movie for each of the leads. About the only Martin Short movie I can watch.

Used to watch this with my dad growing up. It was a flop amazingly when it came out but now its sort of a cult classic. And probably the funniest movie either of the three leads ever made and that's quite a filmography to pick from. And you'll learn new words like plethora. Do you know what a plethora is?

This is a classic. This is a comedy classic. I loved this movie as a kid and I am loving still as an adult. Definitely a must have for any fans of all three actors. Definitely a must have for fans of comedy.

You need to get this movie! It's so funny, and has some history with it! Great chemistry, and message. I am happy to get it, before it becomes extinct :(. Who doesn't love Steve Martin <3!

One of the most underrated comedies from the 80s. This movie has some of the best scenes and at the time original concepts. We later saw the exact same story line with Tropic Thunder.

Great classic comedy. Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Martin Short really pull this off. Add this to your Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, or Martin Short collection. Highly recommend!

This movie was always on the TV growing up and I was so happy to find it in the store and show it to my husband who had never seen it. He was laughing so hard with these three legends and there comedic genius.

This is one of the great movies of all time. If hollywood would put out movies like this again I would definitely go to the theater more often. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and grab a copy!

Classic comedy!! You can’t beat the cast of this movie, all in their primes. And the director also at his peak. Recommend for anyone who likes comedy!

How can you not like a movie with these 3 goof-balls in it? "Gringos falling from the sky" is a favorite line for both my wife and me.

This is one of my favorite movies from growing up. Just had to get it on DVD so that I could watch it with my kids. Too funny :)

good movie despite its longevity and actors, also very funny

This was a bargain bin find for $3.99. I remembered enjoying the film when it first came out and I find that it's just as funny now. The director John Landis has had a troubled career but his comedies, like this one, just as his superb thriller "Into the Night" seem to be unjustly neglected and underrated.

I bought this movie during the pandemic. It has been a favorite movie of mine. I would have to say,it still holds up. Curbside pick up was a breeze
