Everyone knows about the 3 Musketeers in some way or another. The book is a classic and worth reading, but this is not the book version. The plot is predictable for all that are familiar with the various versions of the 3 Musketeers. But a modern spin on the story with various inventions originally linked to Leonardo Da Vinci, breaths new life into this version of the story and makes it worth while watching. Be warned not to expect this to be like the classic tale - for that you may want another version of the story. However, if you are a fan of the 3 Musketeers and enjoy a renewed adventure full of action and imagination, then this is for you! Enjoy!

I think it is safe to say that this version of the movie does take some liberties in how it reimagines Alexander Dumas' original story. However to same sentiment remains. The update serves to freshen the action and create a movie that todays movie going generation would enjoy. This is fun and fresh version of a classic tale that I really enjoyed.

Of all the three musketeers movies. Enjoyed this one the most. Good addition to your movie collection

I owned the regular Blu-ray version but since I recently upgraded to a 3D Tv this was on my 'must buy' list. From the witty one liners to the fight scenes, this movie does not disappoint. 3D visuals just add the extra punch this movie needed. Bringing to life the vivid details of period clothing, sword fights, explosions, and the buildings/environment, if you have a 3D Tv buy this movie. You will not be disappointed.

It is okay, my teen daughter loves it. It is a fun family type movie for older children...

Very good comedic retelling of Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers. Orlando Bloom is great. Milla Jovovich a charming villaness, and Matthew Macfadyen was awesome.

Enjoyed, watching as it kept to the classic theme of over acting, love seeking band of misfits. Filming was well done and not too cheesy looking.

Whatever your opinion of the movie, it has some of the best 3D cinematography I've seen on my LG UHDTV. The horizontal and vertical alignment of the stereoscopic images is perfect so there is no ghosting. The picture is bright and colorful; the scenery is beautiful. It has become a permanent addition to my 3D collection.

This was an entertaining movie but not great. Had a lot of good action, sword fighting and I love movies made during that era, 1700s. Several scenes were a little over the top and not very realistic and I don't mean the sword fighting. It had a little Indiana Jones and Wild Wild West thrown in. It was entertaining and at the right price I would recommend seeing it, just don't expect too much.

This is a different take on Dumas' classic Three Musketeers and skews into to far fetched, but is wonderful fun especially if you like Steampunk. It has an excellent cast and I sincerely hope they actually make a sequel, though that may never happen because it got panned at the box office. This one is a guilty pleasure of mine.
