Purchased this to play Star Wars Squadrons on my PlayStation and it works flawlessly. The button mapping was pretty flawless on the developers end and it makes the flight experience so much more immersive, especially when paired with PSVR. The best part is it’ll work on PC too when I finally get my Oculus Link set up. Ideally, you want the controls resting on a rigid object and it will be an even better experience if you can mount them. But they work reasonable well on either side of you on a couch.

I bought an open-box version, which includes some risks. The device appeared to be in good condition when I received it and seemed to work fine for a few weeks. But, then the X-axis sensor became flaky and was constantly giving invalid, continuously changing values even when the joystick was completely stationary. If you google this joystick, you'll find that this is a fairly common failure.
By the time I realized the issue and took action, it was too late to return it to Best Buy, so I had to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. That process was relatively painless and they shipped it quickly (from France!). I got a replacement within about a week of filing my warranty claim.
The new stick is working great so far. I use it on PC for Microsoft Flight Simulator and it has a good assortment of controls for that game. I'd say that the only issue that I have is the throttle control. It has a notch/stop at 50% that makes it challenging to make smooth changes right around the midpoint. But you get used to that. Also, it seems a bit loose. If you set it to ~85% throttle and release it, it will sometimes fall forward to 100% due to its own weight.

I purchased this flight stick for playing Star Wars Squadrons on PS4 and the joystick performs it's job beautifully.
The button placements are well thought out and the cord is long enough to not have to compromise on proximity to TV.
My only minor complaint is the base should be a little heavier. The stick has a tendency to lift off the table when performing quick turns.
Overall, worth the price.

I got this specifically for Ace Combat 7, but it also works with Eve Valkyrie (VR and nonVR). If you like flying games and spend a bunch of time with them, then you have to get this. I think it might be a bit much for people who are casual unless you've got money to burn. It works well. I like having the feeling of shooting guns vs missiles. I Wish it had rumble. I've never tested a more premium flight stick, so this felt more than quality enough for me. I don't have the stomach for flight games in VR, but if you do and enjoy them, then you need this.

I purchased this for Elite: Dangerous to get a true immersive experience. The control is wonderful.
If I would add two things, it would be a longer cord between the throttle and stick, and motors for vibration. But for now, I like what presently exists.
If you are into flight sims on the PS4, then I recommend this.

Definitely going to take the game to another level. The only way to play flight games. Only draw back is the build quality. I got a few months out of my first one before the flight stick started acting up but I replaced it with a new one and hopefully it will last.

Controls well, reasonable but not overwhelming number of buttons. It doesn't feel "fancy"; there's a lightness or a slight looseness to it that keeps me from rating it 5 stars, but I can't complain for the price.

Bought this for the new Flight Simulator. I'm a beginner and didn't want to jump in too deep. The stick performs great, now. The initial set, required a firmware update to the controls. After that it worked fine. One other small gripe is the wire control. Just takes a little work to get it right.

Pretty good flight stick. Would like to see: a) It work with FS2020 out of the box or at least with Windows driver updates. Instead, you need to download fromLogitech. and b) buttons dedicated to trim (rudder, aileron and elevator) after all- it IS a flight stick right? Other than those minor issues, it’s a decent stick for the money.

Very solid joystick. Using it to play Star Wars Squadrons on PS4. PS4 recognized it without incident. Has all of the buttons you would need to play most flight games. If you're a hardcore flight sim person, you'll want a higher priced, option, but you already kew that.
One cool feature is that the throttle and joystick bases do separate, so you can have them physically linked together as one unit or keep them apart for more space between them.

You get exactly what you pay for. It works well once you figure it out. The main Isuzu’s I have is that you can’t really use the two controllers if they are attached because they are so close together. I feel like it would have been a better system if it was made without that option. If you purchase, plan on having a setup that allows you to use them unattached. It is more realistic that way anyway.

The HOTAS works great for the Ace Combat VR missions. It helped me a lot since the dual shock controls were on the wrong sticks for someone who flies radio control models. It made the dual shock unusable. Thrustmaster saved the day for a reasonable price.
About the VR missions, I did hurt my neck a bit yanking and banking. Looking over your shoulder in the VR gear then snapping back the other way while tracking a target with your eyes. You need to be careful how fast you move.

Not as solid a build quality as the high end stuff, but the cheapest HOTAS is better than a standalone stick. I use it to play Elite: Dangerous and it's great. I use twist steering and use the rudder on the left hand for vertical thrust. I was able to adjust the dead zone to compensate for any wonkiness in the stick.
A few more buttons would be nice, but then it wouldn't work with consoles, so I understand.
Taking the two pieces apart and putting them together again is a pain. Just pick one and never plan on changing it out.

Works amazing for Ace Combat 7. This is my first flight stick but I didn't not want to pay 199.99 for the official hori AC7 stick. No force feedback is the only thing i wish it had or some rumble feature. I paid 56.99 when on sale. Worth every penny.

I got this for Ace Combat 7. I played the other variations with the playstation controller and my fingers would slide off when avoiding bandits and missiles. Only issues with the controller is that the button on the right side of the flight stick gets hit with my index finger and it changes the weapon load out. Other issue is that the throttle doesn't have a heavy resistance when operating it.

Great control, but is not couch friendly. When combined, the feel is that it’s all too close together and pops apart easily. When apart, it’s clear that you need to have it on a keyboard lap tray or table of some sort.
When stable, the controls are pretty tight with acceptable deadzones and comfortable layout.

If you plan on playing simple flight simulator games, I would suggest grabbing this controller. It doesn't have a lot of buttons, but all the buttons are programmable. I had to add some foot rudders in order to properly utilize this joystick. Whether you have the foot pedals or not, very useful in making all those other starships look like old men driving at 20 mph. May the force be with you!

This flight stick i use for Elite Dangerous, Ace Combat 7 and Project Wingman. Really makes flying immersive. So far works well. Had to rebind keys for project wingman and elite dangerous which i play on pc while ace combat on ps5 was ready to go. Really liking it and is great stick if you need it for both pc and ps4/5.
