The carved out component areas are made for specific accessories that are not made for a session. If I had the Hero 4 or Hero 5 this would be perfect.

I had to modify it to fit my Garmin VIRB, but I knew that when I bought it. The VIRB is more of a rectangular shape. With all of the padding and the outer casing it will certainly protect your equipment.
