One of the best hero shows

Tiger & Bunny takes a different approach to the hero formula than most anime, in fact it's closer to Western superheroes in alot of ways. The protagonists are adults not children, they still have character development to explore but the changes are different because the problems are different. We see a single father trying to balance work life while trying to still be a part of his daughters life. We see someone from an older generation getting told he has to adapt to modern times to stay relevant. The heroes are all sponsored by major businesses and being a hero is considered both a job and basically a contestant on an entertainment show for civilians at home to watch (like if you combined the news with any game show and gave out points on performance).
One of the main characters is what I like to personally refer to as "Bunny Batman" because he's got the same "revenge for parents being killed that drove him to fight crime" backstory, plus the pointy ears. The other is Wild Tiger the main protagonist that's stuck in the golden era of how superheroes should be, he's got the moral and speech of what you'd expect from the most righteous of heroes.
The two main heroes get the majority of screen time, as they should as their differences and growth as a team are what make the show so great in my opinion, but the other heroes get their time to shine in a couple episodes each dedicated to them.
The end of part one has one of the two best scenes from the show as a whole when a powerful villain shows up to threaten and challenge all the heroes. I'd say to anyone that likes heroes to give this series a shot because you may end up a fan and trying to get another season.

Before Super Hero Academia came out this was the best anime super hero series. Great humor, characters, plot and art style.
