This is a slightly different take on the time machine but definitely worth watching

My wife and I are fans of Sherlock Holmes and the works of Nicholas Meyer, so we enjoyed this movie years ago and appreciated the commentary track included with this Blu-ray.

Novel concept that not only did H.G. Wells write a story about a time machine, but he actually invented one and had to chase Jack The Ripper across time!!! Looks great on Blu-ray.

Not as exciting as the cover seems. The main character is a little mean throughout most of the movie. But overall the story itself is pretty nice.

I have loved this story ever since I saw it in the theaters in 1979. The effects are somewhat dated nowadays, but for the time they fit. Also, the idea o H.G. Wells having to chase Jack the Ripper into San Francisco's future is a hoot. The stars make the story truly believable.

First time watching - great fun movie - HG wells vs Jack the Ripper in an adventure through time travel Not much extras- just a trailer (which honestly doesn't sell the movie very good) But movie never disappoints

First time on Blu-ray, made in 1979 but still holds up. If you like time travel, HG Wells, and Jack the ripper this is a must see movie for you.

The movie it self is good. The audio is POOR! You can not hear the voices.

This one of my favorite's while growing up. What sold me with this movie is watching H.G. Wells adjusting to the times of the modern day's of the 20th century.
