This is an old game, but still with a lot of fun to offer, if you find one of this out there, buy it!

ive spent over 50 hours on this game and didnt even do everything...

Graphics aren't too good.. Story line made no sense... Controls suck

After doing research on reviews and opinions from other gamers, I decided to give this a try. Have to be more cautious after getting the Mass Effect dud of a game. Turned out this game is addicting (in a good way) just like the other reviewer said. The story has a very good length and you can't wait to find out what lies ahead on the next level. This is also a game that will make you think how to adapt your timeshift capabilities with the situation at hand. I like the weapon selection very much, it reminds me of F.E.A.R. - come to think of it, this is also a byproduct of SIERRA. One good thing and I think it's biggy is the language, although it's rated M it doesn't have a galore of foul language like Rainbow 6 Vegas & F.E.A.R. The limbs getting torn looks realistic it's not that gory, although there's a small glitch when a body gets in the way and the door closes - a minor thing. I really enjoyed playing this game...

The graphics to Timeshift is something else. I love the fact that the enviroment can be completly destroyed. The time shift effect is pretty cool and also the gameplay moves pretty smooth as well. At times though the game has too much going and and it get's hard to see what you are doing. Also you will find yourself bored of doing the same thing over and over throughout the game.. The story I cannot say much about but for a shooter but I can see Timeshift getting like a 7 or 8...

Overall I would say this is a great game with intense action featuring a unique concept. Sometimes killing foes can be tedious even with time shift available: stealing enemies weapons is harder than it sounds, the system is very picky about your aiming, even if you're facing the enemy, unless you see a red cross on him you won't be able to steal his weapon and this can be frustrating since you're very close to him. The frame rate is unstable, sometimes to the point when it becomes choppy depending on what things are being rendered (crowded places and highly animated environments are the most prone to this). Other than that I would recommend this to everyone, in fact this is a must have for every PS3 fan out there as I think it might be one of the best PS3 on the market.

I was waiting for HAZE and picked up Time Shift expecting another Resistance Fall of Man style shooter. I was wrong. The Controls are bad, the Time Shifting is great, but they make you use to get past lame obsticles. The game does have great graphics, but it lost in the horrible game play with the screen lock ups and glitchs and poor frame rate. Just wait for HAZE in January

The controls for this game a pretty good, ... work the way you need them to. The AI is pretty good, (Once the bad guys see you, they come find you.) The graphics are VERY good. (Though many scenes are a bit darker than you would like in a FPS.) The disadvantage to this game is that much of the time, you don't know what is going to happen next until it happens the first time, and if you aren't prepared to use the "timeshift" to reverse or slow down time, ... your basically dead, and you try it again until you get it right..

I played the demo its definatly a good game its got a good mix of guns and the timeshift is different in a good way and bad cuz sometimes you forget you have it and you can die to easily but then using it can be fun to just shoot people when you stop time. If you ever played gears of war its kinda sorta like that and the guns are all unique so i like that.

The game play on this game for me was very smooth. I had no troubles. I thought that the makers of the game was creative with time. They used stopping, slowing, and fast forwarding time. I think that they could have improved more on the game play for the online because there was people glitching every where.

I played this game with my nephiew and wow really well done. Yes I have read reviews where they say it is just another shooter but lets be honest all shooters are basically the same you point and you shoot. Granted some are better than others and this games saving grace is that you can use your time shift powers to steel the enemys weapons run down a bridge that just collapsed and get out of an exploding building as it's passages reform around you. The game gets better with the online portion, well done.
