I bought this as a replacement to my old AM/FM radio which I bought about 7 yrs. ago. I expected it to be of subpar condition having read the one review on it. But, it was delivered in a timely manner. It had one small smudge on it that I was able to clean off with a soft microfiber cloth. It comes with an instruction booklet, a remote control that has the battery in it, and looks and sounds great. Its a little awkard to adjust the clock because the controls are in the back and on top of the unit. I tried to remove the battery also, but with a firm pull it stayed attached to the battery connector. So, I've got to find a way not to pull it apart the battery connector while trying to change the 9V. It takes a while to get used to the controls on top of the unit for changing stations and other functions also. Yet, I really like the remote control and the fact that the unit looks and sounds awesome!

Have another one of these, bought new, which is wonderful... unique play from many memory types and sounds nice. This refurbished unit had something like glue spilled all over it and smelled like it came out of the toilet... disgusting. Never even plugged it in.

great idea, great everything but, was not fully refurbished it comes with acid in the battery compartment they sent me a new one same problem
