The platforming is fine and the co op is nice. It's a bit challenging but forgiving in the respawn points

This is a relaxing game with typical old school scrolling activity. I knocked off a star for rather choppy music playback in handhold mode.

As an old-school gamer, I was drawn to this game because the graphics reminded me of the Commodore 64. The gameplay is very simple as there is just one button to attack, and one to jump. However, the gameplay is very challenging yet rewarding. The levels are interesting... the overworld is similar to that of Ghost and Goblins. For the price, pick this one up! It's a fun game to just pick up and play.

Exactly what I was looking for. An old school, 2d side scroller with throwback graphics and engaging gameplay. My first Switch purchase and off to a good start!

I didn't know the backstory behind this game until I google'd that it was a kickstarter project that had many delays but it finally came out. There are many moments that are homages to other famous games, which developers these days seem to do a lot. However, if you want a challenge for a 2D platformer, this is it. There are only 4 levels, but trying to get everything will make this purchase worthwhile.

This game isn't pushing the Switch by any means, but it is a fun game (although short) and the extras for the launch edition are a nice touch.

A fun and engaging, retro style indie game. Though the controls are simple and easy to learn, the platforming and combat can become rather complex and offers the opportunity to discover a great deal of depth behind both of those elements. And since it's released by Nicalis, it comes with a classic style fully printed manual, a nice touch for those into building a physical collection.

The Switch is a little easier for me, an older adult, to use than the PS4. It also depends on the type of game. This game is the kind I like, sort of a Mario-type format. It is a fun game and very entertaining. The experience (not the game itself) reminds me of the old arcade games.

This game is fun if you love 8 bit side scrolling platforms. It can be challenging and feel frustrating at times. Maybe not a game for everyone, but if you are a fan of this type of game you will absolutely love it. Great addition to any game collection and a fun game overall.

I was hoping for this game to be a little better then it looked, but it just lived up to my expectations. A fun action platformer reminiscent of games from the NES era like Ninja Gaiden (no not nearly as hard). Bit generic but still fun.

A classic 2D style hack and slash game just like you remember! Enough said!

This game is a fantastic new spin on the 8 bit and 16 bit era with awesome level design that references but doesn’t rip off Mega Man, Metroid, Castlevania and more. Hard but not unfair. Definitely a game that sucks you in for hours. Definitely worth the purchase.
