I love nature program when done well, and Tiny Giants was done very well. This documentary alternated between the life of a young chipmunk in the woods of North America and a young grasshopper mouse in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. Each must learn to survive on its own at a very young age while avoiding being eaten by much larger predators. The 3D effects were amazing throughout this video. It’s not easy getting good 3D in very close shots but this BBC video was highly successful. Even in the burrows of the animals it was clear and had proper depth. There’s very good slow motion action as the chipmunk fought a more mature chipmunk that was stealing acorns from its burrow. The grasshopper mouse, also known as a scorpion mouse killed a scorpion in slow motion. There were additional slow motion sequences mixed in with the predator attacks, including some at very close range. I highly recommend Tiny Giants 3D to anyone that enjoys nature programs or 3D.

If you love 3D, this is a must own blu ray! Demo worthy! BBC docs are incredibly interesting, plus amazing 3D to boot. They went above the norm by including the "making of" in 3D as well! Have no reservations about picking this up, even if it's not on sale. Fun for all ages, I have watched this with ages 9-90... Everybody loved it!

I purchased this movie because it was on sale, turned out to be one of my best buys ever for movies with 3-D. The movie was educational, fun and had the most awesome 3-D. This is fun for everyone to enjoy old or young. I now use this movie to give my friends a demo of my 3-D surround sound set up.

I quite liked this one. It follows two stories (non-fiction documentary, that is), that of a chipmunk and a scorpion mouse, cutting back and forth from one story to the other. If you've ever read the "Mouse Guard" graphic novels, parts of this may remind you a bit of that, although these animals don't talk or wear clothing. The photography is pretty amazing the and the 3D quality very good. As an added bonus the "making of" feature is also in 3D, which I really appreciated!

This is a fantastic movie by BBC (Discovery) channel producers. All the reviews have been promising with multiple stars! Great little documentary all in 3D. Hope to see move title done this way!

Picked this up when I started watching 3D movies on Samsung TV. This is more fun than a typical nature documentary and very well-filmed. My kids enjoyed as well.

Do you love saying "awwww" and sometimes saying "ewwww, but also kind of awwww"? If so, buy this and grab yourself some couch. Well shot and a fun film.

Awesome 3D documentary on the life of a few of our tiny creatures. BBC has done a great job following the life of the Tiny Giants with great close up views.

The kids and us really enjoyed this. We do not have a 3D TV, but it is still really cool. The "making of" in the bonus clips was cool too.

Found this in the bargain bin for $10. Happy to have it. Excellent 3D. The special features are very interesting.

Ah well, it does look and sound great on the packaging and would appear to be a great learning video.
