    If you enjoy the Borderlands series, this is an excellent spin-off that changes up many of the systems in meaningful ways. The writing and voice acting are excellent, and it provides dozens, if not hundreds of hours of entertainment. If you're the type of player that treats this franchise like a games as service, you might not get as much mileage with this one because of how the endgame is handled, but you've probably already purchased the game if that's your style. I knocked off 1 star because I purchased this edition for the season 1 DLC and it ended up being a major disappointment. Previous Borderlands titles had pretty much uniformly excellent DLC, including some of the best story-based expansions I've ever played. By comparison, Wonderlands offered what felt like significantly shorter and far less satisfying add-ons. 5 stars to the base game without the upgrade.
