The multiplayer is still the fun run and gun game style. Many elements have been tweeked, such as leveling up, burn cards, loadouts and weapons. Once getting past the changes, the fun of the multiplayer is just as great as the original. The biggest change, of course, is the addition of single player. The campaign is fun. The dynamic between playing as a pilot or titan adds some depth. The environments are really beautiful and make for an awesome playground. The platforming is really enjoyable and builds up in difficulty throughout the game. I'd definitely recommend grabbing this game if you are a fan of the first one.

I had skipped the first Titanfall game because I was not interested in an online-only multiplayer game. When I heard that Titanfall 2 would have a dedicated single player campaign I decided to give it a try. I was very happy with the game and even find myself enjoying the multiplayer part as well. The campaign is solid, moves along at a good pace, has some interesting concepts and mechanics [POTENTIAL SPOILER: when you get to the point with the ability to jump back and forth in time i was blown away. This section heavily reminded me of the game singularity, a very underrated game, and Titanfall 2 used the time mechanic expertly, I only wished it would have been a longer section]. END POTENTIAL SPOILERS Overall this game is fun, fast, and BT was a cool traveling companion, hopefully they will make a 3 because I want more TITANFALL!

In my opinion this is a lot better then the first Titanfall. So far I have played the campaign and it has kept my interest and the story is pretty interesting. Being able to play as a Titan is pretty awesome and I would say if you liked how call of duty has been going based on all the technology advances in their multiplayer games, you would like Titanfall 2.

Definitely an upgrade compared to the first Titanfall game. The story, the mechanics, the gameplay--all improved. Multiplayer is like COD with giant robots, the single-player campaign has more cohesiveness and arc this time.

This game is everything that the first Titanfall should have been. The single-player campaign is pure science fiction of the highest order; the story is outstanding, the cinematic presentation is top-notch, and the level progression is superb. This was a big surprise for me, as I had been expecting a series of cheap thrills and over-the-top nonsense; instead, I was treated with one of my favorite campaigns in any video game of the last three years. It really is something special. As one would expect, the multiplayer is as well-balanced, fluid, and manic as it has ever been. If you are even remotely considering this game as an addition to your library, buy it. Buy it right now. You won't be disappointed. This is my surprise favorite game of the year.

With all these current AAA title games releasing with bugs and minimal content, it's starting to feel like the gaming industry is using players as testers. Actually, they're having gamers pay them to test their products. However, Titanfall 2 is probably the first game this year that has followed the traditional method of releasing a full product that has the players' interest as a priority. This game has an decent progression system, addictive multiplayer, moderate campaign and the best feature out there....FREE DLC! It's shame that this game's profit margin has been hit due to its release date and drastic price cut a few weeks after launch, but gamers shouldn't complain much since it's to our benefit. Grab the game immediately before the sales are gone.

Great graphics, and a very addicting and fun campaign story. Though a little short, the campaign is very fun and I will play through it numerous times. The multi-player is awesome and similar to the first title. Huge maps, but also some very tight and close quarter maps that I didn't experience in the first.

"Amps" up the Titanfall formula to epic levels. Actually includes a fully fleshed out single player campaign (that puts BF and CoD to shame). Fast, fun, and varied multiplayer ensures this will be a game that will stay fresh for quite some time. Best game I've played all year....Prepare for Titanfall!

The first game had no campaign. This game has one and more than makes up for it. The story is good and the game plays great. Multiplayer is also fun, it's not perfect, but it's a very good game.

Superb single player and surprisingly moving. Starts off a little generic and even a little ez to let you get used to mechanics of the game and then it pours it on. Played through normal easy enough, played through hard and now trying master. I usually get bored with single player and usually don't finiish and go to MP. NOT this time. Multiplayer is also great fun, the only concern is low numbers despite gushing media and user reviews because this game is, NOT surprisingly, selling poorly after being thrown out between BF1 and COD. Stupid EA mistake. Do yourself a a favor and when it goes on black friday or any other super sale, definitely pick this UP! if you're a fan of FPS's.

This is one of my new favorite games and I was a huge lover of the original Titanfall they have just made the new version so much more fun! I have always been a big Mechwarrior fan when I was a kid! So this just is up my alley including the fact that you get to pilot the Titan and play as the pilot as a fps! It's the best of both worlds and now they not only have a really great multiplayer as before, but now they have what they were always missing a single player campaign mode! I am having so much fun I recommend it to anyone!

The first game was great and this one is even better! The graphics are awesome and the single player campaign is a nice addition. The action is fast paced and the mechs are so cool!

The movement and map design is not as good as the first game, but it's still fun. The campaign does add depth but multiplayer is where you spend all the time. Hopefully updates and map packs will improve the elaborate and fluid level design to be more inline with the original.

Minus how amazing some people are online (meaning I get my butt kicked by players that have been enjoying the game for quite some time), the game is great. Once you get the skill to keep up on multiplayer then it is well worth the money. Giant mechs are not as all-powerful as you would think but are still an awesome addition that does not break the game.

I don't play on line against other people so this was great to finally get a real single player. And they delivered. Great Story and game play.

Not a lot of first person shooter campaigns interest me these days, but I couldn't stop playing Titanfall 2's campaign. The relationship between your character and his Titan was humorous and powerful. There are actually platforming elements in the campaign that made me think a bit on which wall to run on, when to jump off, etc, and the campaign frequently adds little wrinkles to your Titan and pilot loadouts that prevent the campaign from becoming stale. I've only played a few hours of multiplayer thus far, but that seems solid as well.

I had lower expectations for this game next to Battlefield 1 as Battlefield is my favorite multiplayer series, but Titanfall 2 far exceeded my expectations. The campaign has some of the best level design I've seen in a shooter in a long time, it's just the right amount of length, the "secret" collectibles in the game are a challenge to find without being ridiculous, and there are even a few nods to the legendary Half-Life for veteran FPS fans to see. Highly recommended, especially if you missed the first game a couple of years ago.
