Bought this to replace the Tivo Premiere supplied by my cable company, after I dropped the cable company and installed an Antennas Direct Clearstream antenna. Really great upgrade! This Tivo is faster. The Skip function is great. The white case kinda sticks out compared to our other componenets, but that's the only knock I have against it.

I've never paid for or owned a DVR of any kind... but I feel like I'm already falling in love with it. I got tired of paying Verizon $13/mo for their standard HD set top box (No DVR). I've had that same set top box for 4 years now so it's cost me over $600!!! My experience with the TiVo service so far has been great, if my first year of included service continues to be as enjoyable and pain free as it has been so far, I will most likely purchase their lifetime subscription when the included year is up. Other Thoughts: Really wish the membership fees weren't so much money, but they are comparable to other DVR services, and can be potentially cheaper in the long run that renting a DVR from your provider for all eternity.

I upgraded from the premiere and love it. Everything is faster going through menus but my favorite thing in the rf remote. No more trying to bounce the signal off the roof to change the channel. I am also using the built in Moca to turn my tv coax cable into an Ethernet cable. The only thing I do not like about this unit is the shape, it makes it impossible to stack.

The response on this thing is great. You press a button on the remote and bam! it's done. Very fast. Had zero problem pairing the cablecard with the device or getting Xfinity on Demand working. Just one short call to Comcast. Yeah, don't care for the color or design all that much but you get used to it. I prefer something works like it should vs. looking good.

I bought this so i could get away from satellite contracts. I installed an OTA antenna - my wife wanted to be able to record, and this product does that. It included a year of the monthly guide subscription - well worth the $14 per month it will cost after the year. I'm saving over $70 a month, and i have Netflix, Hulu, HBO and Sling TV.

The Bolt has some great features I like the one pass feature to record my favorite shows and the commercial skip mode so I can keep up with my shows in less time.

Although not quite as convenient as a Fios DVR, the Tivo is a much better investment and holds a lot of programming. It's user friendly and will save us a fortune in the long run. The cable company was charging us $22 per month for a DVR and a cable box.

Worth the upgrade just for skipmode. This also comes with one year of TiVo service. That makes this a great choice when upgrading an older model, or just starting out. The remote is RF too and that's pretty great. Pair this with a TiVo Mini (no service fee) to stream tv and recorded shows in any room in your house.

I reluctantly purchased the Bolt after Comcast initially told me my older HD model would be incomparable with their new service. Even though I had no intention of upgrading I am very pleased with the Bolt. The 4 tuners are great and the interface is very smooth and easy to use.

Everyone loves TiVo Simple to use Dvr The only thing I don't like is the color, when all your other components are black this stands out and is shaped weird but other than that it works great

I love the Bolt even though I don't have a 4K TV to go with it... yet.. The only reason this is the second best purchase is because it only has 4 tuners whereas the Roamio Pro has 6 tuners. Some people don't like the white box with the bend in it, but I kind of like it.

Instructions from TIVO Bolt and customer service are not helpful. A cable card from your cable provider is required. We had problems with the cable card working with TIVO Bolt. Our cable company resolved the issue NOT TIVO. Now that it's all set up it works great! Easy to use. Quality product.

Easy integration with my HDTV Antenna, Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix Accounts. My only pain point is no access to HBO and other extra's. Fantastic integration with the Kindle, and Fire TV sticks, while live tv is not available, recorded tv is. Buy this if you are kicking Cable to the curb.

This new Tivo is awesome. Easy to set up and works great. If there was anything not so good it would be the shape (not flat). Also, I don't like how Tivo does the one-time, annual or monthly fees. You pay big money for the device, the additional costs are too high - should be a lot less.

This box makes time Warner cable tolerable. Not a big deal not having access to on demand when you can record everything. Would highly recommend this to anyone

As a long time TiVO user, I am quite pleased with the Bolt. It is incredibly small but fast. I also like that TiVO is now including a year's subscription in the Bolt's price. I only wish they would release a 6 tuner version similar to the Roamio Plus.

This TIVO Bolt seems faster going in and out of Menus so it must have a faster processor. The Commercial Skip works great when available which is about 75% of my recorded shows. And the QUICK watch works good. Overall a good improvement over my TICO Premiere

I currently use Charter Spectrum as my cable provider and did extensive research before buying the TiVo Bolt. I have been using the cablecard with the TiVo Bolt for about a month and a half, and I love it!! Pros: The interface is updated and much cleaner than the standard guide that most cable providers offer. It's really nice to be able to perform a search for titles across all streaming options as well as live TV. Cons: Doesn't work with On Demand with Charter. The 4 tuners can be a bit limiting if there is someone in your house that records a lot simultaneously.

Really enjoying my TiVo Bolt. Works flawlessly with Comcast cable card. Love the streaming feature to my iPad while connected to my home network. Took one star off because it doesn't stream when away from home network. If it did, five stars all the way.

I've had Tivos for many years and this is the best one so far. Works great with my new 4K Sony XBR TV.
