If you haven't tried Tivo, you don't know what you are missing. Best interface out there and a joy to use. This latest version integrates On demand. It's awesome.

I had the Roamio Pro before moving to an area where Time Warner did not service (if you have Time Warner get a TiVo box; the stock Time Warner boxes are very slow; the TiVo box performs almost instantaneous). I then bought a TiVo Roamio OTA. The OTA box is great but now that the year minimum is up I upgraded to the Bolt. The Bolt is more responsive than the Roamio. If you have a Roamio it's not worth upgrading but if you are just buying one or upgrading from an older model the Bolt is a great box. We have the Bolt (and previously had the Roamio OTA) hooked up to an over the air antenna. The TiVo uses your zip code to pull the local television channels and give you a list to choose the working channels. After the initial set up it has the great TiVo menu that makes TiVo great. You can search by show name, title, etc. You can set up season passes to record certain shows and watch them when it's convenient for you. You can stream Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, etc. You can pause live tv and so forth. If you buy any TiVo box look into the TiVo mini for other rooms. With the mini you can watch shows recorded on the Roamio or Bolt in the other bedrooms. We have a mini in all three bedrooms that connect to the main box in the living room.

The Tivo Bolt is my first venture into the Tivo world and it works so much better than the traditional cable box including the X1 by Comcast. It saves money when paired with Tivo Minis in each room instead of paying the typical rental fees from the cable company. There is a yearly fee but I get some of that back through a customer owned equipment credit.

This DVR is perfectly awesome! I love how fast this TiVo respond and the skip feature, heaven!!!

This TiVo is so much faster than my older one. I also love having it paired with a TiVo mini. My only complaint is the fan on it is a little loud.

I use both a comcast dvr and the tivo bolt and the bolt is becoming my favorite. the only issue is the ondemand sometimes doesn't work or won't let me select HD shows. If that bug is fixed, I would ditch my comcast dvr. bolt is easy to use and looks better sitting out! I love commercial skip option for recorded shows. I

I help friends with their TV needs as a hobby. So I’ve set up several TiVo Bolts. I’ve been a TiVo user for about 10 yrs and have always been very satisfied with them. The Bolt is their latest model with 4 to 6 tuners, voice control (on the Bolt Vox model). It also has a number of the major apps built-in (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu. Pandora). One of its best features is The Commercial Skip feature. As soon as commercials start it pops up a message & chimes to que you to tap a button on the remote which takes you instantly back to the program. It works on select recordings only but a good deal of the prime time programming has the feature. You can also potentially save $ by not renting your cable company’s DVR. Lastly although the 4 tuner Bolt can be used with an antenna instead of cable. The TiVo Roamio OTA model should be considered if you are only going to use it for OTA (antenna TV). The Roamio OTA model doesn’t require an ongoing subscription and some report it has better OTA reception.

The Bolt is an excellent upgrade for TiVo users. I was recently using a Roamio, which I loved. The Bolt has a faster interface and the extra features (QuickMode, etc) are great. I also like that it is 4K compatible, so when TV stations start upgrading (soon, I hope!), the Bolt will be ready to go with the best quality picture!!

We replaced our Uverse service and DVR with an antenna and this TiVo Bolt. We've been thrilled with the improvements in system usability, not to mention the $90 a month savings. The Bolt interface is the best from any of the DVRs we've tried over the years (Dish, Direct, Charter, Uverse) and the TiVo remote is perfect.

Decided to cut the cord with our satellite provider...and purchased this Tivo Bolt. Very pleased with this purchase!

If you are a TIVO owner, this is the next level of full home TIVO coolness! When combined with TIVO Stream, your entire house now has shared live TV and full TIVO recording capabilities. No more terrible cable boxes and expensive monthly equipment rent. When cable guy came out to setup the cable card, he said, this is what his boss has - they don't even use their own equipment. If you don't own a TIVO today - why not? TIVO Bolt simply has no equal and it's cool looking too!

Records several shows at once and suggests programs based on your recordings. I like this machine -inside and out.

I recently looked closely at my cable bill and found I've been paying $50 a month for a DVR extra cable boxes. I read the reviews on this and the TiVo mini's and bought the 500gb Bolt and 3 mini's. I wish I had looked into this years ago. The Bolt is a fairly new product but even without prior TiVo experience I was able to get it set up and operational in about 45 minutes after getting a cable card from my cable provider. I'm done paying $600 per yr to rent boxes.

Great and easy to use product! Has more than enough storage for recordings and navigates smoothly thru Netflix.

Pleasantly surprised at the speed of the TiVo. I think the skip commercial feature is the best feature ever!

This is the third TiVo we've owned. Love the simplicity of navigation on TiVo products. This one has a clean, slim design. There are still some minor bugs to be worked out, nothing significant. It makes suggestions of movies as well as tv programs. Has a new live tv display in the upper corner while you are on the tv menu, which we like.

I really like the Tivo functions. It has some features that are semi-hard to figure out but overall it has a simple interface.

this is the second time I've bought Tivo. I like the Bolt, just wish they kept the 6 turners in stead of 4

I like all the features i've tried but wish it handled OTA at the same time as Cable.
