Purchased our first 4K TV on Black Friday for our extra room, and needed another cable tuner. Finally, the TiVo Mini was offered in 4K, so it was the perfect complement.

Just upgraded my Tivo system and now own a Bolt and Minis. I love that the MOCA is built into the Bolt, which means no additional hardware and no need to run on my Cat5 network.

Have a TiVo and need to extend it to other TVs? Well, you probably already know that you want this. It’s fine. Use wired Ethernet.

love the ability to extend my Tivo to any room. The Mini vox is the fastest tivo box I have ever used. Very happy with purchase.

I bought these along with the TiVo edge DVR box. Setup was easy and works great. Able to watch reordered movies and shows as well as watch live TV.

2nd TiVo in the house and no monthly fee. Works like the regular TiVo and easy setup, can't beat it.

Performs exactly as advertised. I have this paired with a TiVO Bolt. Setup was easy, only thing I would change is TiVO's app offering. Not as many as its competitors.

My new Tivo mini is much quicker than my previous one and I do not lose the picture as I did occasionally with my previous Tivo mini

Works great and essentially mimics the behavior of the base DVR in your house. Be aware that this wants a wired connection (read the specs), but I think TiVo is offering an adapter now. I was able to fake a wired Ethernet connection on my network using a WiFi to Ethernet adapter that is USB-powered; the Mini has a port that serves that purpose perfectly.

Got tired of the cable company charging me a rental fee every month, PLUS a service fee just for our dvd-r's ... and they were such old tech, it just wasn't worth it. So, dumped all but basic cable, added the tivo ( it also allows for different apps for streaming), pay the cable company 2$ a month for the card that goes in the tivo, and we can record up to 6 shows at a time and watch as we see fit. Mini tivo in the back room .... I used the MOCA networking option that allows transmission over pre-existing coax cable, and we are sooooo much better off!!!!

One of the most powerful streamers on the market. Not to mention if you get one it comes with life time TiVo service ;) Great second TiVo unit!

My mini found my TiVo Bolt so quickly and easily. It was Bastone free. Links into the master device and allows for independent usage in our master bedroom

Fairly easy to setup. Must be wired via a network - not wireless. I ran coax and CAT 6 to the mini. Small so out of way. Has rf remote so can be hidden.

Works seamlessly with Tivo Roamio Pro. Just make sure that you have the appropriate MoCA filters to keep the signal maximized and inside the home.

The mini is a good way to extend your TiVo to other rooms in your house, the features of the Mini are the same as the main TiVo box (Roamio in my case) that it connects to without needing another TiVo box and the associated recurring service fees. The one downside that I see is the requirement for a wired connection to your local network. I bypassed this with a WiFi range extender (Netgear AC1200) that has an ethernet port that I use to hook up to the Mini (though this can be expensive to do for multiple devices).

Bestbuy's online ordering/pickup was easy. Expect to wait up to 24 hours to activate device with tivo online. Once that was ready, setup was easy.

Its great that you can extend the Tivo experience in 4 Kwithout a huge expense. Got a good deal during the holidays.

A great, cost effective way to add additional cable service to an additional room in your house without having to pay the cable company for it. This little TiVo box is very quick at loading apps like prime video and Netflix, and releases the tuner it uses at your main TiVo box after a few hours of non-use. Highly recommend!

Fairly easy setup and pairing. Nice not having to pay additional subscription fees. Uses recordings of existing tivo.

Works well with my Bolt. They have a 5GHz WiFi adapter now for this if you don't have ethernet or moca.
