Long time TiVo user. This TiVo Mini VOX replaced a prior TiVo Mini. Slight upgrade overall. Biggest changes are the voice search and 4K UHD support. Menu navigation seems to be slightly faster. The voice search works very well, even better than Siri in my opinion. I had much difficulty pairing the remote to the Mini VOX but, eventually it "took".

Much improved mini. I own several of these but this unit seems to be quicker.

Great add on to entertainment system. Setup was easy and quick. Works as advertised.

Wanted to be rid of Dish forever, but had to have DVR. This does the trick. It’s a little tricky to set up, had to call customer service to trick it into recognizing the main box, but once it was, it’s great. I can still record the shows I want and watch commercial free. Would give 5 stars if the remote was backlit - terribly hard to see the buttons.

So far very disappointing as any live TV steaming from my OTA Tivo stutters terribly. Streaming recorded shows works about 50/50 and requires a restart of the mini often to work at all without stuttering. I have both the tivo and the mini hard wired via cat 6 cable so should not have any bandwidth issues. Have not had the opportunity to interface with Tivo support yet to see if they have a fix for the issue.

This is exactly what I needed for what I’m using it for.

This is our third Tivo-Mini. We added this one to our new TV in our kitchen. We have two others in bedrooms. It allows us to watch anything on our cable or anything we have recorded on the Tivo plus being able to schedule recordings on the Tivo. We haven't tried the voice control as it's easy enough to just use the remote in a normal fashion.

A lot of ups and downs with this device. Most of the time, it works great with our Bolt Vox through Spectrum cable. However, it does need to be restarted way more often than I would like and does freeze on occasion as well. Also, we can't always pick up where we left off on recordings from Bolt Vox on the Mini.

Great addition to our TIVO setup! Easy to add to home system.

Long time TiVo user. Still the easiest to use DVR ecosystem on the planet. Added a new TV so I picked up this new Mini. Can’t really tell any performance increases over the older Mini, but it does look a lot nicer. Sure wish TiVo would fix the length of time it takes to add a Mini. It’s 2019 already - it should be immediate. I won’t dock a star, though.

I bought this so I could tape shows that I could not tape with direct TV. I am planning to drop cable at my home and use streaming services and this turns out to be the best thing to tape TV at home also. The streaming service gives you 50 cloud hours of storage but my wife likes to tape movies and this solves our problem nicely.

Smoother and faster than my previous Tivo Mini... Loving the Voice options.

Works well with my older Roamio. Slightly clunky to set up as I needed to upgrade my Roamio to the latest user interface which took over 24 hours. Doesn't connect to wifi but I was able to connect it and and my Roamio with ethernet cables to two apple airport extremes which worked fine over wifi.

Great addition to Tivo. I bought 3 of these and replaced 2 Tivos

The 4K feature is great with no need for another streaming device.

Great unit should work with WiFi would make easier to use
