If you have a Bolt and want the new TiVo experience I would recommend picking up this remote it will add to the overall experience to the new Vox software.

Adding voice command really simplifies things, especially searches. Only complaint is you have to upgrade your TIVO box to the latest interface to use and some of the changes are not improvements but annoyances such as when programming a recording the default is to create a "One Pass" as opposed to just recording the program.

I️ own 4 Tivo bolts and purchased 1 vox remote to tryout. It does require user interface update but the voice search is flawless. I️ purchased 3 more for my other bolts.

I no longer have to share my remote with my husband. This remote worked great right out of the box.

Order this and it arrived quickly but did not include the dongle necessary for the Tivo Raomio. Call Tive custormer service. Told it had to be elevated and would be sent out soon. Called back 10 days later and nothing had changed in the status. This rep transferred me to sales and they sent me out at completely new remote with dongle.

These remotes are the real tivo remotes so they work just like the original

The remote is okay,but I don't feel like I use the voice controls nearly as much as I had thought. Also, it makes you upgrade to the new "TiVo Experience" and it really sucks.
