This is a port of the 2017 arcade game based on the 2012-2017 Nick cartoon. This may throw off seasoned TMNT players as the original arcade game, its sequel (Turtles in Time) and the more recent Shedders' Revenge all use the 1987 cartoon as source material. I happened on this game in the arcade but could never dedicate enough time (or money) to completing it, so I was overjoyed when the port-to-home consoles were announced. Knowing this is an arcade game is paramount to enjoying this beat 'em-up style game. Despite the developer adding more levels and bosses, the game can be completed quickly. It's a fun romp with the same replayability as the other arcade games. However, don't expect the same depth as Shredder's Revenge. This is a simplistic, six-level port with added material for half the cost of a normal console release.

While it doesn't reach the other previously released games(Shredder's Revenge, Cowabunga Collection) this will scratch the itch TMNT fans have. The only reason I gave the game four stars out of five is the linear shortness of the game though expected still feels a little disappointing too. Also it does feel a little empty compared to the previously mentioned games in story and plot through to be fair it was an arcade game. Overall the price is good and the overall gameplay is good to add to a gamers collection as it could be far worse I mean seriously Star Wars Outlaws anyone?

Daughter has been really into TMNT lately and this game plays a lot like the classic arcade game i grew up playing. She has nothing but great things to say about it.

This is a very fun and easy game to play for young kids. Simple moves and power ups. My 4 and 7 year old boys love this game and can beat levels without my help.

This plays like an old school turtle beat em up. Been playing this for awhile and it brings me back to my younger days playing with my kids. Great purchase and value!

Bought this game so we could all play as a family 4 player game, lots of fun we all loved it.

It is what is - an arcade port. It's not necessarily worth full price, as the game is barely over an hour long since, you know, it's an arcade port. That said, it is a solid port all the same and my 5 y.o. can't get enough of it.

The kids love playing this at the arcades, so this is a great way to save some money and play it at home with them. Fun and easy beat 'em up for the whole family.

Good for a 5 year old. Simplest game you will ever play. There's a jump button and a punch button, that's it. Just a few levels to play. My son will grow out of it soon.
