This game looks AWESOME!! I have not been so excited and pleased with a wrestling game since i played WWF Wrestlemania on the N64.
The characters look stunning, the models were done perfectly and they actually look and move like PEOPLE! Not some stiff boxey looking character in Smackdown games.
Not only do the characters look great, but they move perfect and fluid and look natural.
The story mode is done very well and keeps you interested up until the finish.'
The only thing I had a problem with was the commentary was hard to hear at some points while in a fight. Also, the commentary gets kind of repeatitive too. Other than that, this game is worth picking up if you can get past the small stuff and love some good, hard hitting action.

I bought this game in great anticipation, only to find that the promos were pretty much the whole game.
TNA Impact is a first generation game, and needs a lot of work. The create a wrestler mode is very limited and doesn't give you many options at all.
The gameplay itself is very repetitive, once you've had one match, you've pretty much had them all. The matches seem to change little in story mode, and you may go from single to tag team, but you will find quickly that the gameplay gets old.
Some of the features also need work, for example, you can be dominating a match, the computer player hits you with a finisher, and you're done. The "kickout" system needs a lot of work.
This doesn't affect me much, but if you are looking for the TNA knockouts, they are not in this game.
I give TNA credit for trying, but from a long time wrestling fan and player of wrestling video games, don't waste your money.

I really, really wanted to like this game but the poor controls and cheap AI prevented any love for this game.
I'll stick with WWE Raw vs. Smackdown moving forward unless Midway can change the control scheme.

Ultimately this is the best looking wrestling game out there on the market. I am always skeptical on how a game is really going to look when I pop it in. Wondering if it is going to look anything how it looks in commercials and in promo trailers. This one blew me away.
The create a character mode could have been a little more in depth for my tastes. I would have liked to see more moves available to the player right out the door. Once you start unlocking them though, it gets better.
Overall this game is great and is worth buying.

If you think that this title is anything like WWE's Smackdown v.s. Raw you're sadly mistaken. The only thing good about this game is the realistic graphics, and simple controls. The bad are the character entrances, the repetitive movesets, championship belts you don't even get to ware, creating your very own character, and last but not least the poor AI.TNA has a long way to go before it can catch up to WWE's title.
