  • Nice Sequel to Tom & Jerry Wizard of Oz Cartoon

    My grandchildren were introduced to the original Tom and Jerry cartoons and they were quite enamored with the first Tom and Jerry Wizard of Oz movie. The sequel reunites all the characters once more for an adventure in OZ and Kansas. They revisit some of the music from MGM's Wizard of Oz as they did in the first movie. One welcome music addition was a song and dance number that was cut from the original Wizard of OZ, called the Jitterbug. The song is used to great effect in the new movie, however I wish they had kept the tempo of the song as it was intended, as a jitterbug. The movie is a good buy, but see the original movies first.

    Who doesn't love some good ol fashioned Tom and Jerry. Brings me back to my younger days
