Customers love the game's graphics, although some feel they could be improved and that certain aspects appear outdated. However, a significant negative point is the multiplayer experience, with comments citing long wait times to join games and a generally underwhelming experience.

When I first played this game, I was thrilled and impressed at the stealthy approach the developers went for and the various gadgets I had at my disposal. As I progressed, however, it became boring and repetitive. The gameplay was always the same. Step 1: Throw sensor grenade/UAV to reveal all enemies. Step 2: Tag enemies. Step 3: Hold one button to command your squad to take them out. Step 4: Rinse and repeat. It wasn't much of a challenge to progress seeing as your team could take out all the enemies without you shooting a single bullet. On top of that, the storyline was generic and stale. Every once in a while the developers would change the game's pace by having you control a robot with infinite explosive ammo capable of blowing up half the continent which was fun at first, however, that too became repetitive and very unchallenging. Usually I finish the campaign first before moving on to multiplayer (a loose tradition of mine), however, the plot had no real meat to it and I lost interest. I was impressed on how team orientated the online gameplay was, however it wasn't good enough to meet my expectations. The encounters I had with the opposing team were usually laggy and unpredictable. There are several guns that overpower all the newcomers so one man could dominate the field just bycamping. The graphics of the game didn't reach potential either (singleplayer and multiplayer) and the glitchy cutscenes ruined the mood. Overall, the game had some great ideas (i.e. the invisible suit, gunsmith, etc), however the constant repetitive gameplay and under par graphics made it unchallenging and bland. I give this game a 6/10. Although this review seems harsh, this game should definitely not be looked over. However, I recommend renting it instead of purchasing it due to low replayability.

Game is a great shooter/squad-based experience. The weapons tech is awesome. Wish the storyline had been better developed because there was a lot that was left out that could have made the gaming experience more immersive.

Spent $50 on a game that my children had been asking for, only to get home and be completely disappointed. The package claims that it has multiplayer capabilty on-line. What is not explained is that the feature doesn't work on the XBox version. Tried to exchange it after explaining to the store where I bought it that it would not work as advertised, but only got the runaround and brush off as usual. Would have to say that after having spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy we may have to start taking our business elsewhere.

Good tactical shooter

this game is not your average run and gun action shooter like call of duty. It gives you options to go stealthy or gun blazing at certain points.
Pros: Fun and challenging gameplay, extensive weapon customization, great audio, better than average storyline for a military shooter, multiplayer is on par with other shooters
Cons: In order to use all of the weapons in the campaign you have to play the multiplayer, not many people even playing the multiplayer right now, some of the graphics look a little bit dated.
Overall it is a great game but I would recommend waiting for this game to drop in price a bit since you can only play the single player campaign.

The Ghost Recon and GRAW franchise has been one of my favorites, well over Battlefield and COD. I can't tell you how many hours I'd spent playing GRAW and GRAW 2 on Xbox Live, so I was expecting something to that quality or better. Didn't get that with this game. With the multiplayer everything is objective based, no option for Team Elimination. Most people in the online community treat it as if it is Team Deathmatch, so it becomes demanding to play a competitive match with some teamates going to the objectives while others are just running around the map. Who develops a shooter without this standard feature? The maps are lacking a lot of interaction that you come to expect within the COD and Battlefield. The custom classes on Multiplayer are ok, but nothing Earth shattering.
The gameplay was ok, but it's all about not being seen, to much time avoiding enemies and not enough time using brute force. I'd been looking forward to a new Ghost Recon game for a long time, but this was more of a disappointment than anything.

I've been playing the beta version for the past week with a group of friends....game is awesome in the fact the the higher level the better stuff you can get for you guns similar to battle field but slightly more in depth (I won't spoil it) the bad thing is the controls feel kind of heavy and unresponsive at times and there's no filter on the skill level of people you play against....and if you know the stages well enough you can basically wait around at a respawn and roll people....I know its a beta version I'm playing so I'm hoping thats the case otherwise pretty fun game and happy alternative to cod and bf3 as long as the server is up and running

Not the Ghost Recon I Used To Know

I purchased Ghost Recon 1 & 2 before this version and those games had a multiplayer campaign mode where you can do objectives with other players locally or online together. Everybody was on the same team and we had to compete against the computer. That is the mode that made me buy the second Ghost Recon and the mode that I was looking for when I bought GR3. Well, what we got was a lame multiplayer mode where you needed to populate both teams with players and you play against eachother doing very lame objectives. What happened to the multiplayer campaign mode? How is this game different than any of the rest of them? This game is just call of duty re-badged. Not worth my time or money IMHO. Since I have purchased Ghost Recon 3 I have played Ghost Recon 2 about 95% of the time vs playing Ghost Recon 3. tell you how good the game is when I elect to play a 6 year old game over a brand new game. I can still find multiplayer campaign games on Xbox live and GR3 came out 6 years ago! So, I wasted my money on this game. Please do not waste yours, especially if you were looking for the campaign multiplayer mode.

No couch coop campaign!

The campaign story is engaging but can only be played by one player at a time on your home screen. There is a separate set of short missions (survival missions) for 2 players playing at the same time with a split screen but they are exceedingly boring. The original promotions for this game said it was going to have a great coop mode and we thought this would be as good as Halo for 2 players playing together. What a disappointment!

This game was pretty decent, but I felt like it was designed as a single player role game like a Splinter Cell title. The game was fun to began with, but got kinda dull as you progress! I would recommend that you rent it and beat it, because it does not have replay value

Takes too long to get into a multiplayer game...Puts your teammates on opposing teams even though you are in a party together and that is provided one of your team doesn't get kicked out while the others get into a game. This make this game very frustrating. .All objective based which makes play difficult as most players ignore this. I've pretty much went back to playing COD and this sits on the shelf.

As a Tom Clancy, tactical team shooter goes, the single player campaign although generic is actually good. Your team does not drag you down with bad ai, and 30K is probably the best scripted artificial teammate ever done in a shooter.
Where Ubisoft fails though is the multiplayer. This is a TEAM based shooter. You win or lose based on your teams actions. Here's the sad part: Unless you play with a clan or friends, and work the objectives you will lose every single time. Want to know why? 90 percent of the random people you end up on a team with think this game is Call of Duty, so while you are trying to power an EMP, your teammates are running around like 14 year old kids. Stay away until Ubisoft adds a team death match..

By far the worst Tom Clancy game yet. Constant framefreezing. AI never seems to be able to walk on their own. Enemies that cannot be seen. AI teammates who can't do much of anything except to heal you. Hope your teammates walk around the object you had to or you will be alone soon. This title is worth $19.99, not $59.99!

This is my very first Ghost Recon & I have to say, I was completely blown away by the campaign which allows you along with multiplayer to customize every aspect of all the weapons in the game which is a fun feature you rarely see. The only real problem with the game is the multiplayer connection has a lot of issues (lost of connection, sound, not putting your party on the same team), I've actually never had a connection problem this frequent on any game until now, also sensor grenades seem to ruin the whole thing, I mean if you have a whole team throwing them everywhere your cover is blown almost 90% of the time which takes the fun out of it. But with that said the cons of the game can be easily fixed with future patches & if it does it definitely is game of the year material

This is probably one of the first best game throughout all of the other Tom Clancy's series. I mean what can I say? The game hasn't come out yet but i read reviews, looked through game plays, and it pretty much has a lot new features to it! The graphic is awesome. Campaign is So-So.

It'll be good to get a new shooter style game that isn't exactly like CoD or Battlefield. The setting in the future with the high tech weaponry and equipment will definitely make it a good game.

Overall, i was not too impressed with this game. The single player story line was pretty good and could pose as challenging if set on a harder than default setting. But the multiplayer lacked a lot of what other FPS have in their gameplay and overall controls of the character in the game.

I bought this game mostly for the kinect capability and was completely disappointed. The graphics are horrible esp compared to battlefield. Not what i expected. The campaign is pretty awesome. Challenging, can create your own guns and a whole new experience.
