I watched the official announcement including the short film. I'm not big on playing shooter games. I liked this game because of the Cartel aspect. I also like that the game had multiple endings depending on how you played. I saw the low reviews because of the repetitive missions and poor vehicle controls. I actually enjoyed all of that LOL.

There were a lot of expectations leading up to the release of this game and I think Ubisoft has met a good amount of them.
Graphics: 10/10 Graphics look good on the Xbox One but amazing on my PC maxed out at 2560x1080p.
Gameplay: 8/10 The A.I in this game aren't very smart but that has been an issue in most Ubisoft shooters going back the the original Ghost Recon games. Customization is a huge part of this game when it comes to weapon loadout and gear.
DLC: The first expansion "Narco Road" was considered a failure by the Ghost Recon community. The second "Fallen Ghosts" is pretty good so I hear. One thing to note is that any weapon included with the dlc's are only playable in the that expansion and not the main story!

This game was beautifully done. I love how they allow you to room about the virtual world freely and if you want to do a mission you simply enter the area and complete the objective. This game is constantly updating and is I really enjoy the different approaches you can take to completing missions.

Great first-person shooter game with a story line that you won't want to put down. My wife even likes to sit and watch this game because it's almost like watching a movie. Graphics are high quality. Secret new mission at the end is fantastic. Another great Tom Clancy game. Highly recommend it.

This is a great open-world shooter with tons of character/weapon customization and has high replay value. I found the story pretty lackluster, but the gameplay mechanics more than make up for it. Be as strategic as you want, or go in guns blazing. Whatever it takes to complete the objective.

This game is a blast seems like an endless amount of missions. I have been playing for about 1month now and REALLY like it. It’s easy to pick up and put down if somthing comes up you don’t really find yourself stuck in hr long missions. It’s very addicting and like a war version of GTA.

This is an amazing, polished, work of art. The graphics and game play are out of this world and the new 4v4 multiplayer is a great change of pace from other pvp. But the game, in all its splendor, is a little on the repetitive side. Still very very fun but could have more of a variety of missions.

I always enjoy games where I can play the campaign story with multiple friends and family. It makes for a good time and I don't have to play the game every day since I can always jump on with friends and family to get me caught up when I have put the game down for a while.

This game is awesome it’s a bit different from the previous titles but with all the improvements in gameplay it is good the Latin American language can be cheesy but gameplay is awesome I recommend a helicopter to get around FYI

This game is has been so fun sneaking around with your teammates taking down the bad guys. I think this game is best played with a friend or matchmaking. This is the first time the Ghost Recon series has gone to open world and it works great.

Let me start by saying this is not the ghost recon i had hoped it would be. For some reason, that is a good thing. It stripped me from all i knew about the franchise and opended me up to this awesomely huge open world campaign for single player and coop, which is just fantastic. I am not a fan of open world and all that but wow is this game deep. After giving it a shot, i would highly recommend. They have also promised in a future update an online multiplayer aspect which will then make this feel like a more traditional ghost recon game. This is a well made game and i would buy again.

This game is most fun when played with other people, preferably friends. Its a great game that you could easily spend 60+ hours playing before you finish. I will agree with other reviews that the missions are repetitive in that you are either tasked to blow up something, take out a cartel target, or "extract" a cartel boss and interrogate them for information. That being said most games are that way; in battlefield 1 its fight your way from point A to point B, or capture said points. Also, the way you go about completing a mission in Ghost Recon Wildlands is completly up to the player: maybe the second time you have to "neutralize" a cartel boss you decide to climb up on a roof top and use your sniper instead of charging in guns blazing, or even call in a mortar strike. When you play with other human players the possibilities are even greater since players can be anywhere in the game map at anytime they want. I have played with friends where two of us parachute in to an enemy base, while another friend was camped on a hillside, overlooking the base with, with a sniper rifle to take out guards as we made our way in quietly. Once we had the target person in custody the forth friend came in with a helicopter and pulled us out, of course it was under fire since the sound of a helicopter altered the base that something was going on....For players who may have read that the game is missing the tactical aspect of previous ghost recon games, i would suggest playing on extreme difficulty and if that doesn't make the game feel more tactical you can turn of each HUD feature separately in order to find the balance that gives you the most challenge.

This game was bought for my husband, and he loves it! I have watched him play it, and it does have good graphics. The one part he likes the most is that it is based out of Mexico. I know you are going to enjoy it as much as he does.

Best Ghost Recon Game Yet!

In my opinion, this is the best Ghost Recon game to date. The world is huge, and the gameplay is great. I would recommend playing the game as is, and not purchasing any of the DLC as they actually make the game worse in some ways.

I have been playing ghost recon for about a week about 10 hours a day as I'm just a student going to school and my classes are at night, anyways this game is pretty good, ghost recon has been known to have boring like missions that tend to have a repetitive feel to them. This isn't any different but I know all that when I bought the game, some things I have found is that the game or maybe my system can't keep up with the progress I've made so I'm foeced To restart the whole process over I get stuck between rocks which happens quite a lot, or cars are seen with the road splitting it in half or a sign stuck in my car window as I'm driving Around. Things that shouldn't be happening in a official release game. In the beta when I played it I thought it was awesome and wanted more but now that I've played 50 percent of it so far I'm feeling Less and less like they spent the time creating the gameplay as they did the surroundings. The AI is a joke in single player they're as dumb as bricks. They don't listen very well to commands and I know that I should be playing online but let's face it I don't got the money to do that now so I'm stuck with single player offline. So those were all my cons or annoyances. Another thing about the AI is that they didn't create very many responses or talking points so when they do talk it's the same thing over and over again, the first time it's ok but after he 100th it's a bit annoying.
Now the thing I like the most is the background the environments they created are stunning. The variations are amazing, another thing I like is the story line. They did a good job creating a story and a cartel that's believable, and reasons for the characters to do their job and why. So if you like the ghost recon franchise and are ok with repitition I'd get this game but if you don't then don't.

About 30-45 minutes into the game and enjoying the gameplay thus far. Really enjoying the co-op feature for the campaign, which is increasingly rare for video games. Game play might be a little repetitive, but still fun to play.

Been playing the Ghost Recon games for what seems like forever. The series has come a long way from the slow methodical original, to the frenzy pace of the GRAW games, and now we have a kind of open world. Always happy to see a new entry.

There were a lot of mixed review, so I hesitated to buy this game. So glad that I did though, because it is a lot of fun...especially with 1-3 friends. I enjoy the single player as well, where you can do the missions at your own pace.

Wildlands has an enormous map to be explored while you tackle various challenges either solo or in online Co-Op (recommended). Unfortunately a lot of the content is mundane and repetitious. Still fun to play with friends though.
