I never read the books so I don't have a bias. This show was good enough that I binged watched them all and dawn is breaking. I am tired but it was worth it. This was some compelling story telling. Life is complicated, humanity is complicated, sometimes there are no good choices and sometimes good deeds are punished. i felt like the story gave fair play to both sides of the Jihadi vs. the West conflict. The story doesn't try to justify what they do or what we do it just shows the motivations and the actions. There are several stories being told that all intertwine, but all are important and there didn't seem too be much, if any, filler scences.

While most of the movies have been pretty good the extended time frame available in a limited series format to develop the plot works much better for Jack Ryan's adventures. John Krasinski has done a great job of bringing a new version of Jack Ryan to life. As much as I love the Harrison Ford outings I think this Krasinski's version may be the best to date. The show has a decent budget and the production value may rival the movies. If you like the genre then definitely watch this version of Jack Ryan's adventures.

I'm familiar with the Jack Ryan novels and movies by Tom Clancy, but season one of Jack Ryan blew me away. I think having more time for character development in a season series benefits the show because the writing and acting are excellent. I binge watched the show just to see what happened next. This may be the most surprisingly good disc purchase that I made all year.

I have always loved reading the next Tom Clancy novel. Harrison Ford was my favorite on the big screen, and when they said John Krasinski was Jack on TV, I said John WHO? Actually, this TV version is very good, and I can't wait for season two!!

The story and the actors were really good, and it’s the genre I like . I was just a little disappointed that there were some bedroom scenes I could’ve done without . Wish they would just stick with the story & not do that.

Watch Season One in just a couple of days. The episodes were 45 to 55 minutes long, and seemed like they were 20 minutes long. They just flew by. Enjoyed a whole lot. Can't wait for 2nd season to come out.

Blu-ray offers all 8 episodes in 1080p HD. The clarity is outstanding and really clear image The audio is a Dolby Atmos mix which I really love. Can’t wait to buy the next season on Blu-ray.

It's hard to start a series on Jack Ryan/CIA and not have some high expectations created by the 5 very good Jack Ryan movies, the excellent Jason Bourne movies and the Homeland tv series. At first, I felt that this Jack Ryan series was just not as interesting, but towards the end of this 1st season, the episodes have grown more complex and compelling. I look forward to season 2 with new enthusiasm.

A very nice backstory for the beginning of Jack Ryan, and his wife as well as his meeting up with Greer. Most definitely looking forward to season 2 which should be set in Russia!

I enjoyed the movie. Was very enjoyable. Would recommend.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan TV series is not based on any books written by Tom Clancy. The character was originally created by Clancy and the TV series brings him to life.

The product came on time. Was going to wait until Christmas but decided to watch it before. It is a good how. Can’t wait until for season 2.

I really enjoyed the amount of content and action with this series. The story line is fun and entertaining with nice sequences and cinematography.

Fantastic show. Great audio quality. It’s just a shame they didn’t release the season in 4K UHD. Thankfully, the audio mix is done in Dolby Atmos.

Didn't have a chance to see this series when it first came out but binge-watched Season 1 and looking forward to Season 2! Great show! Well done!

Great show with a great beginning. Seriously looling forward to the next season. The story, the characters, and location shoots were amazing.

Dad loves Jack Ryan. Was unable to watch due to it being on streaming service. Great you can buy the whole season. Dad loves it!
