A return to Rainbow Six roots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always loved Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy games. Vegas 2 with its terrorist hunt mode is still one of my favorites. This game is a giant terrorist hunt. It does lack some starting content but with free dlc, solid game mechanics, and an unforgiving nature (you will die alot) this game surprised me by being quite impressive in the more realistic aspects of being a tactical shooter. A great and truly tactical shooter.

Great fun for those that like a tactical shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend the season pass for this game also as it unlocks all of the post-launch operators. The game is great fun for cooperative terrorist hunts which have you both assaulting and defending in various scenarios. The adversarial multiplayer works pretty much the same way, just substituting a human team as your opposition instead of AI. The game lets you use real world breaching tactics, drone recon, deployable barricades and shields, etc. and the gameplay is very tactical vs. just run and gun like most modern shooters. When you lose health you do not recover it and the amount of damage you can take is dependent upon the armor rating of the character. You can be revived once by a teammate but you will have half health once revived. After the second time you go down, you are effectively done, so you need to tread carefully and watch your corners. Each operator brings something unique to the game and its fun to experiment with different combinations on a team to see what can be accomplished. My only complaint about the game is that Rainbow Six has traditionally had a single player campaign, and while this installment served as a complete overhaul to the game, the lack of a single player campaign was noticeable to long time fans of the series like myself. It's not a deal breaker by any means, the game excels at what it offers, however it would be nice to see a full scale campaign on future titles in this vein.

Good Recent Tactical Shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of people I know personally always like to compare Rainbow six as a knockoff of Counter Strike. However, Rainbow not only was created first but also a lot slower than Counter Strike. I like them both personally but I like Siege more than Global Offensive for a few simple reason. The reason is it's updated, it has better graphics, and it's a lot slower (more time to think what you're doing). I do have some issues for the game. Like all games require teamwork, you need a team that can hear you during the games or else it's going to be hard to play. My other issue is the season pass, thankfully I was told before hand the operators are going to be free and same goes for maps. The season pass has an expatriation date for some reason and it's only going to give you cosmetics, time exclusivity, and in game currency. I would ask for the season pass to be lower priced down to $15 or $20 if these are the items we are getting. I have a lot fun with this game, sadly it does get repetitive so I do ask to play other games in between so that wouldn't happen. As well have other games before you purchase this game. I put "I would recommend this to a friend" is for the people who have other games this year, if you just now got a PS4 or even an Xbox One, I highly get something like Black Ops 3 (It's better than what the community is saying) or Fallout 4. Then you can get this game as to something you and your friends can play together.

Not need season pass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is really good if you like being tactical. Playing with friends is always preferred. No real single player, server issues at times when there's a full party. If your looking to get the season pass don't do it. It pretty much just unlocks new characters without having to pay for them with the in game money you earn. Just work for the money and save your real money.

Always a fan of Tom Clancy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. And they did it right, yet again. It feels like the old Rainbow Six games with a great new twist. Despite not having any single player story line or campaign, the tactical game play online is always new and enjoyable, as long as you have friends to play with! I wouldn't purchase this if you only like to play games by yourself and offline, such as with Fallout 4.

Decent game. Not like other R6 games.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played a decent enough amount of this game to say the CS:GO influence is undeniable. I waited and bought this on sale and I'm happy I did. Definitely NOT worth the original price of $60 but if you can get a used or sale copy I say go for it. Graphics 7.5/10 Gameplay 7.5/10 Multiplayer 7/10 Overall 7.5/10

Great Tactical Gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Siege is definitely about teamwork. I love the tactical nature of having to plan your assault/defense and work with your team to call out enemies to successfully take out your objective. No interesting campaign which is fine since the multiplayer more than makes up for this. If you're looking for a run-n-gun game this is NOT the game you're looking for.

Fun, Frustrating, Fantastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned and sold this game a couple times since its debut and have sunk dozens of hours into team play with on-line friends. I gave this game a 5 star rating despite many of its shortcomings. Introduction of new players to the mix and rebalancing of many weapons frequently effected my discontent with some aspects of competitive play. However, besides Battlefield 4, Siege is one of the true shining stars of this game generation.. Realistically, a lot of my frustration is rooted in my strong desire to be a much better player. There are essentially 3 game modes. A dozen or so single player missions to familiarize you with maps, operators and gadgets just scratch the surface of what this game has to offer. You can team up with friends or join matchmaking for Terrorist Hunt missions against AI enemies in a few different attack/defend scenarios. This game really shows its heart and guts in the online 5 v. 5 matches that can be a very fun and tense experience. Ultimately, I still find myself teaming up with friends a few times week to play a few matches. For that reason alone I give this game the highest marks! (I picked it up for less than $20 with Gamer's Club discount last time-Awesome deal!)

Intense multiplayer filled with action and suspens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty good game, the multiplayer game is awesome: 100% teamwork, 200% intensity, 300% suspense. I really enjoy playing this game. You might get bored of it after a while if you like playing campaigns, but that is not the case for me. I really enjoy playing fast, furious and intense multiplayer matches.

BEST SHOOTER OUT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Siege is without a doubt the best shoot I've played in terms of realism and just fun factor and you don't have to have any of that future bs in a game to make it fun no wall running and double jumping just guns and technical thinking game gotta be smart this isn't anything like braindead cod games

Pretty Dang Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game hits on a lot of Tom Clancy points like its realistic, solid graphics, weapon customization, and a lot of different operators to choose from. The online gameplay is good I wouldn't call it great it doesn't really take off unless you have a good group of guys to play with. The situations category is more of a pain than anything and isn't really a good make up for a decent single player campaign. Lastly for god sakes there serves just go crazy sometimes to the point where you just wanna shut the game off. All in all its an average game that is fun to play with some buddies, but if they would have offered a fully finished product that is less glitchy, with better servers, and a dang campaign this easily coul have been a 4 or 5 star game

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been having a blast playing this. Not really into the CoD type game where you just kill everyone. This requires strategy. If you can get with a couple good team mates and communicate what's going on, this game becomes a blast! It's a fresh take on the first person shooter.

A slow and methodical shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.RB:6 is an amazing FPS. You have to think before you move, just move rely on teamwork (mics are strongly recommended), and any false move can lead to immediate death. All of this adds a sense of anxiety and seriousness. There really are no shooters out there like this for PS4.

Lacks Content
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is not what they've promised to us. Few contents and repetitive dynamics, absolutely few customizations and micro transaction everywhere. I remember that Payday was sold at a low price because it was on-line only and with few things to do while Siege has the same costs of Fallout 4 or other "complete" games. No campaign, no single player modes, no soul in this game. Just an anonymous on-line shooter which is fun to play but that costs too much for what it offers. My advice: buy this game when is at a cheaper price or only if you have a good team of friends to play with...

Not your average shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a great departure from the "twitch shooter" these days. It is a military style shooter, but it is a more nuanced affair focusing on the specialties of the specialist. No pun intended. I love how this game is a chess match about strategy. The developer goes a long way to make your one life per match feel long enough and real. Tension in the matches make the game and the matches feel great. I prefer the one life per match and special abilities to trying to press buttons quickly to get back to life to see if I can make any progress. Every member of the team can contribute something to the team immediately. Also if you are having a tough time, using a different load out helps a lot. This is a game that the community helps you feel better about as you are working with your team, not the negative population of other shooters.

A Necessary Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a fantastic title. such a nice change of pace from the most recent FPS games. I played the beta with no intention to purchase, then I immediately changed my mind and purchased day one, and very glad I did. Don't miss out on the strategy and the dynamic action!

Great tactical game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tactical game. A nice variety of maps, weapons and operators. Team work is key in this game! Going lone wolf usually results in death. It is also pretty slow paced but tends to pick itself up. My only complaint is the amount of renown earned per match.

The Tactical Shooter You've Been Waiting For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the smart man's Call of Duty. This game requires extensive team work and tactics for a player to be successful. Games consist of multiple rounds, with each player being granted one life per round. The gameplay is very suspenseful and addicting.
