Single player boasts a realistic and exciting story line and leaves you craving more. Controls handle flawlessly. Nice graphics. The AI at times may be a little idiotic. A multitude of online gameplay options! Great selections of weaponry. Ability to input you face on your online character via box live vision camera. Customize gear and unlock new weapons. By far one of my favorite 360 games to date! Highly recommend!!

This is a fun and exciting tactical first person shooter. It has a deep multiplayer with a lot of different game modes and maps to choose from that support up to 16 players. This game has reshaped the Rainbow Six franchise and propelled its popularity with this first installment on the next-generation consoles. This game does not focus on the tactical aspect as much as previous Rainbow Six games did. Instead it is FPS first and a tactical shooter second. You cannot do as well at this game by ignoring the tactical component, but you can get by with little tactical appraisal of the situation before rushing into a room. The game has a great story that will leave you wanting to play the second installment just to see how the story ends. It is a fun game that offers plenty of replay value in either the single player (thanks to the terrorist hunt option) or the multiplayer. A side note on the multiplayer is that you can also play the story mode and terrorist hunts online with up to four players. The bottom line is that this is a great game to pick up if you are looking for a solid FPS that has a great multiplayer.

This game is a fun challenge on the higher difficulty settings. The beautiful graphics, combined with the realistic tactical movements, and intelligent AI make for a fun, heart pounding gaming experience. My only problem is I feel the multiplayer options were not clearly defined or stated on the box and in the manual. It alludes to four player co-op, but does not say only over system link or network games. This game does not clearly state that it is only a two player split screen game, unlike the four player split screen in Halo 3. Other than that, it is an awesome game.

This game is just all out good. the story starts off in mexico and ends uo at the hoover dam!! when i played it it was jawdropping, i mean the way u can hide around all of the walls and everything. But then to the multiplayer, it is fantastic most of the time you will be playing with people more your age then the average 13 yr old kid. this was great. the ranking system is sweet! you go from a private grade 2 to an Elite. There is also alot of unlockable camos, armor, headgear, and guns. this game is a must buy game for all xbox 360 users, even if you dont have xbox live.

This game fits nicely, and easily into one of the few 5 star slots in my library. It's what we have come to expect from a Tom Clancy game and Ubi Soft. Absolutely a must have for all shooter gamers and really has no rival (though GRAW2 does hold it's own). Game-play has an excellent blend of technical approach and combat/shooting. Not too much of either and just enough of both. Team is easy to command and control (but they should have included the ability to look through team members hud in order to pick out location to send them when your on the other side of the room- they did include that feature in GRAW2 so I don't know why they would leave it out in a more tactically based shooter. ) Otherwise, and even in spite of this, the game is nearly perfect. Graphics are great. I've never been to Vegas but my daughter tells me the game "looks just like Vegas". The controls are so simple and smooth that ordering and carrying out tactical actions including repelling, fast ropes, room entries, ect. are not tasks that take you out of the game while you consider and implement; instead, they absorb you in the game easily. You can use your Live headset and give voice commands to control your team but I found the time lapse between my voice and Team Commander's to be too lagging for the confidence you will need to think and act quickly during fire-fights. Again, not a problem, the controller works flawlessly. Another reviewer (on this site or another) had commented that this is a man's game. I agree but I'm sure there are some women out there that might claim it too. The price on this game is another big plus. If you don't have the $30.00 plus tax to throw down on it I would advise trading in Halo 3 for a discount. Your time with your XBOX will be much more challenging and much more fun.

This game will keep you entertained for months even after you beat the game (which is no easy task on realistic difficulty). Co-op mode with a friend is a great time and the single player story mode is very challenging and also entertaining. Great graphics, sound, and controls make this game an easy decision to buy!

This game is amazing, the graphics, story, and gameplay are all on point. The enemy AI is amazing. The enemies respond well to the different strategies you try so the gameplay remains challenging. Buy this game! It will be your new addiction!

Finally a strong multiplayer for the Xbox360. I would recommend this game as a must have for the console. Sure GRAW has the stronger single player story. But RSV delivers with the online multiplayer. Customize characters (even putting your own picture with the Xbox Vision Cam). Smooth gameplay, Great graphics (which looks better in HD) and plenty of modes to enjoy for a long time. The only thing that RSV lacks is inviting a guests online for more gameplay.

For 20 dollars this is a must have Xbox 360 game. The storyline is amazing and keeps you interested. The controls are easy to use and ur teams just own. The online play can get boring because everyone camps. The graphics are great and all the guns are great. Get this GaME!

This game in awesome! The graphics are incredible. The realism with the interaction with the AI. It's different everytime you play. The Functionality of the controls, There are just so many amazing things you could say about this game. It is an incredible game.

"Rainbow Six: Las Vegas" is one of the first games in a long time that I have actually sat down long enough to play. I enjoyed playing the campaign mode and all, but the real magic of this game, would be the Terrorist Hunt mode and the online play. Terrorist Hunt mode is a unique campaign that allows you to go through previously explored areas and take on a huge number of enemy terrorist. This mode is always fun, whether you play alone, or with a friend. The enemies are actually fairly intelligent, too. Though their AI eventually get predictable, they are more than fun to play against. I will also say that if you have XBox Live, you will never get sick of this game! It seems like there is no end to the amount of rank you can earn. Tons of fun! This game keeps me up all night!!!

This game is a must buy for fans of FPS's who own an Xbox 360. With a tight control scheme, engrossing campaign, and addictive multiplayer it is sure to be an instant classic. Never have I had more fun playing a game together with someone than playing terrorist hunt on realistic with a friend. The enemy AI is smart and vicious, some of the best I've seen in any game. At times they'll charge you when you least expect it and others they'll take cover and let others flank you while drawing your fire. The graphics are solid and the in game audio when played on surround sound is absolutley amazing. Easily one of the best first person tactical shooters out there, so check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Im a huge clancy fan decided to pick this game up since part 2 is comeing out soon. i took so long to get it cause i read reviews that said the shooting on the game was aweful. NOT SO. i think the shooting system in this game is better than the ghost recon series so who ever said that was wrong. its got really cool weapons almost every weapon you can equipe with a scope which i really like and the enemies just keep comeing. so there is plenty to do per each level. literally hundreds and hundreds of men to shoot at. now the con its an old game but not many people are playing it on live other than that its a good one so buy it.

So I got this game when it first came out and was so busy playing other games that I almost forgot about it. When I finally picked it up I could not put it down. The campaign mode is excellent with good graphics, storyline, and decently challenging objectives. The best part about this game is the online gameplay. There are a lot of different ways to play online from online terrorist hunt, online co-op play, and just for fun player matches. My personal fave is the ranked team sharpshooter matches. Challenging ranks to overcome, I actually got a huge satisfaction of earning the rank "elite" legitimately. This is a great game.

*Single player* I love all the different ways that you can control your team in the single play campaign. You can tell them to stack up on a door and then flash and clear. Or maybe you want them to use a frag grenade, maybe smoke. You can even use your snake cam to look under the door and past it and target enemies. You can tell your team to hit a particular bad guy 1st or 2nd and plan your attack. The strategy is very deep and it is VERY satisfying to beat this game on the Realistic setting. It is hard enough to be challenging without being impossible. As an additional bonus - shooting the pistol on my home theater surround sound is AWESOME. My setup is in my basement and you can feel the floor shake on the 1st floor when I fire. I love the sound on this game. *Multiplayer* The multiplayer is fun but it didn't hold my interest for whatever reason, despite the fact that I was reasonably good at it. I would still recommend it to my friends who find R6V's playstyle right up their alley.

If you're a fan of the Tom' Clancy titles, this one will blow you away. The normal style that usually follows the other games is different this time, as you can order your teammates and such to do certain actions, while you do yours as well. Multiplayer is where it's at, and as you gain multiple ranks you unlock higher equipmetn and more weapons to kill your enemies with! Granted, graphically and sound wise, this game is a must have for any 360 owner!

I'm a long time veteran of Tom Clancy's games and this is by far the best game he has out in all of his series. There is an immersive single player, co-op, and online multiplayer. The gameplay is quick, smooth and fun. The AI is the smartest that I've seen in a video game. This game is highly recommended to all first person shooter fans and even casual gamers.

This game was mainly so fun because of the setting in vegas. The variety of missions in the main story was great and the graphics looked great. The ending sucked and the solo missions way way too hard and frustrating as you have no idea where the terrorists are until the come out in mass, killing you with two shots and you have to start the whole level over again. You can also play this game as a third person shooter with a code (sequence of buttons pressed on your controller). Definite fun shooting up the streets of Vegas and slots in the casinos.

This is the best Rainbow Six game to date. Graphics are better then all of the previous installments. More casino levels for Mission and multilplayer then vegas 2. co-op multiplayer is awesome. This is a must have for any xbox 360 owner

This is a very good first person shooter. The Single Player campain is pretty fun. There is actually a cover system so you can lean against walls and 'blind fire' (unlike Halo 3). A good thing about this game is that if you dont have XBOX live you can still play the whole story mode split screen co-op with another friend or 'terrorist hunt' were you choose a map and clear out the enemy. The AI is great cause they provide each other cover fire and try to flank you. online Play is realistic cause it REQUIRES team work. No 'Rambos' trying to steal all the glory. If there isnt team work there is no chance of winning. I like that you have to pick a good weapon to fit the situation and map. If you are indoors clearing rooms the submachine guns have better rate of fire and its easier to get the enemy in your sites. If your outdoors the assault rifle has better range and the bullets hit the target a little faster (cause of the velocity of the round). All in all I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone. You wont be disappointed.
